When the president comes out as anti fascist and pro democracy and you feel attacked… Perhaps you need to do some introspection

If you’re afraid that books might change someone’s thinking, you’re not afraid of books, you’re afraid of thinking.

This is a drawing from a sample of alien DNA. It has tentacular biomechanics capable of reproducing itself using a myriad of different compounds, but saltwater such as that within our oceans is particularly amenable to it.

157 days ago terrorists ransacked the US Capitol and *hours later* 138-of-202 (68%) House republicans voted to make trump a dictator. They tried to finish the rioters’ job and end democracy. Never forget it.

My previous post was a red Vespa in San Francisco, and I said I would post one in Paris next.

Tiny oil on paper painting from last year. 5” x 7”. Done really fast and quick. Usually with something this size I have extra paint from something else and try to make use of it.

Zulu Cowboy. Digital art. The figure was a sketch and the rest is actually a paper frame for an antique photograph. One for a tintype I believe. The two were digitally layered together.

My favorite way to sketch is to start randomly doing something and see what appears. One night this happened. I didn’t plan it or look at anything. I have no memory of which part came first or last. Smoking man, 2018. 12 x 9 inches.

I added aluminum bars to the front and back of my new art table. Once I add French cleats to the front and back paintings positioned vertical will rest against the metal keeping paint off the table edge. #artstudiolife #artstudio #paintingstudio #arttable #studiotable
