notice the contrast bt these scenes.
tanrak uses the bible to preserve barth’s flowers, so the sacred text, despite his inner conflict, is still tied to love.
but for barth, the same book represents violence and abuse, the one his father angrily threw at him:

first thing i noticed about this scene is that the window reminded me of a confessional and they were talking about confessing earlier too then here it's barth "confessing" to tanrak his identity and his feelings towards him this was such an insane scene

that’s one of my favorite scenes of this episode, incredible portrayal of grief, the way it finds you in random afternoons, as the bells strike i remember everything, even your ears. the discovery that his house had been demolished, that everything he had lived for is being eaten alive, and isn’t even there anymore to mourn it, how nothing was left on this earth, the apple tree, his childhood, all dead. #TicketToHeavenEP2
Have you seen those graphics where people are "protecting" their children from the LGBTQIA+ rainbow with a Bible, a cross, or a shield?
I thought I'd draw an alternative reality. One where protection looks like love instead of fear.
I like this version better.🌈
