@humantransit The return trip, second class, was the most interminable, hottest, dustiest train journey ever. But I still loved it. It stopped everywhere.
But honestly, they could have used a class between second and first.
@humantransit It's so sad what happened to Mexican passenger trains. In the 80s I went from Monterrey to San Luis Potosi via Saltillo first class. It was a cool night and I still remember the elegance of the bar car and its dark blue decor.
@WhiteHouse One of the first things Trump did when he entered office was to cut federal programs that were successfully helping reduce violent crime in cities like Chicago and Baltimore. The White House stopped helping in January, and has offered nothing since then.
@PrisonPlanet BlueSky has very little. X wallows in it. When it was Twitter, reporting hate speech always resulted in it being taken down. Not anymore. It's openly tolerated here.
@DCGuard1802 Why do you feel compelled to put a happy spin on being misused like this? If you are making the point that your deployment is not about crime but militarization of cities, you should say that.
@ReallyAmerican1 Colbert's show gets the most viewers and keeps getting Emmy nominations. That's the public interest. The "course correction" is pure censorship.
@patrickhealynyt There is no value in talking about what boxes he checked or what he wrote in. It's as if you are presenting this as questionable or something to defend. It's not.
@benryanwriter@danarubinstein@npfandos@nytimes It's despicable and creepy that you think you have a "scoop" and that Mamdani did something wrong or dishonest.
Your conduct is shameful, bigoted and unethical.
