@francoimpell@BJSM_BMJ Thanks for directing me to the letter, which I hadn't seen before now, I'm afraid. I will discuss with the co-authors how to respond. Important to acknowledge any mistakes made.
@francoimpell@BJSM_BMJ We are consulting the wider athletic and sports med. community to help prioritize future proposals. As you may know, it's very important to us to include all relevant voices and experts in our projects. (3/4)
@francoimpell@BJSM_BMJ When there is a need, topics are considered for a follow-up meeting. There are many examples (see statements on concussion, RED-S and others). Following the developments, the topic of load and injury risk may lend itself well for a follow-up. (2/4)
@francoimpell@BJSM_BMJ Dear Franco, I did reply to you: https://t.co/AmmPlb00ac. The IOC, the consensus statements and their faculties are certainly not free from error. We strive for scientific rigor and excellence, but sometimes we get it wrong. And most of the time, science moves forward!

1. Develop a questionnaire
2. Ask others to use it
3. Get feedback on how it can be improved
4. Invite users to help improve it
5. Repeat
This process usually stops at 2, but delighted to have updated the OSTRC questionnaires.
Thanks to all involved!

Athletes & sporting organisations need to be wary of the marketing spin of direct-to-consumer genetic testing companies. No evidence to support claims of performances and/or health benefits @sportaustralia @NickyVMitch@BJSM_BMJ@ACSEP_@FSEM_UK
@BJSM_BMJ@picardonhealth@EUPanelWatch@BJSM_BMJ supporting diversity through identity politics. But why stop at gender/#manels? There are other groups poorly represented. Race/#allwhitepanels? Diversity of ethnicity, geographical origin, age, socioeconomic status, language, sexual orientation, religious beliefs?
Excellent interview with Asker @Jeukendrup, sharing his wealth of knowledge on nutrition in sport, in this case cycling: https://t.co/uPTTycsXTo @BJSM_BMJ
