Obama’s Idea of ‘Democracy’ - American Thinker https://t.co/YCv5gjrhSJ
Read Jeannie DeAngelis's analysis of Obama's perennial homilies to "Democracy." She doesn't address this, but I think Obama's 'democracy' is Marx's 'dictatorship of the proletariat,' or put another way--the tyranny of the majority.
There's nothing original or novel in today's left's rhetoric: just sophistry & an ever-expanding vocabulary of sweet-smelling code words to disguise & sell their malice.
One other thing to note: What is the real source of Obama's sweet nothings? As a long-time follower of Jack Cashill's investigations, I doubt it's Obama. I can't help sensing a faintly lingering hint of Bill Ayers. Or maybe it's stronger than that. Anybody know what Bill has been up to lately?
@RepJasonCrow Exactly !

@BarackObama The Obama Presidential Center: half a billion in concrete ugliness, no actual presidential library, just a monument to ego. Chicago’s neighborhood didn’t want it, didn’t need it, but got it anyway. Peak legacy grift.
Barack Obama remains the definitive monument to progressive fraudulence, a political illusionist who successfully traded empty hope for absolute power. He left behind a shattered healthcare system, a weaponized administrative state, a decimated Middle East, and a deeply fractured nation, all while maintaining a pristine, media-protected legacy. The left worships this legacy because it represents their true ideal: a flawless aesthetic veneer masking a ruthless, unyielding expansion of state control over the individual. History will look past the curated speeches and the teleprompter charisma to see a cynical partisan who institutionalized executive overreach and perfected the art of the bureaucratic cover-up. Comment below if you still believe the fairytale, or admit that you were conned by the most hypocritical regime to ever occupy the Oval Office.
Nowhere was this cold political calculation more evident than in the blood-stained sand of Benghazi, where American lives were sacrificed on the altar of campaign optics. When a coordinated, heavily armed terrorist assault slaughtered Ambassador Chris Stevens and three brave Americans, the administration immediately manufactured a fictional narrative blaming a random internet video. For weeks, high-ranking sycophants flooded the Sunday news circuits peddling this absolute falsehood to protect the fraudulent campaign myth that global terrorism was in retreat. Internal emails conclusively proved that senior officials knew the truth within hours, yet they chose to jail a scapegoated filmmaker rather than admit their catastrophic foreign policy failures right before an election. This willingness to distort reality over the bodies of dead patriots remains a permanent stain on the conscience of the American left.
The ultimate betrayal of the progressive base arrived with the wholesale expansion of the warrantless surveillance state. The former constitutional law professor who once railed against the Patriot Act quietly transformed the National Security Agency into an omniscient panopticon, collecting the bulk metadata of hundreds of millions of innocent citizens through the PRISM program. This seamless transition into a surveillance czar makes complete sense when analyzing his early ideological formatting, which liberals aggressively scrubbed from his public biography. His close personal and professional ties to unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers and the radical, anti-American theologian Jeremiah Wright were indicators of a deeply radical worldview. He expertly adopted the language of the elite establishment to secure the presidency, then used that authority to institutionalize the exact extrajudicial, lawless mechanisms he built his career pretending to oppose.
The international arena exposed an even more grotesque divergence between righteous progressive rhetoric and lethal executive unilateralism. Obama traversed the globe on an administrative apology tour, begging forgiveness for American exceptionalism, yet he simultaneously expanded the imperial presidency to terrifying new horizons. He authorized a tenfold escalation in drone warfare compared to his predecessor, transforming remote operations into an extrajudicial assassination program that routinely incinerated weddings and civilian gatherings across the globe. Most damningly, his administration asserted the absolute right to execute American citizens without a trial, ordering the extrajudicial liquidation of Anwar al-Awlaki and his sixteen-year-old American son. Leftists who spent years screaming about civil liberties suddenly fell completely silent when their Nobel Peace Prize laureate became the most prolific, unchecked drone commander in human history.
Domestically, the administration pioneered the totalitarian tactics that the contemporary left now uses to criminalize political opposition. During the critical run-up to the 2012 election, the Internal Revenue Service was explicitly weaponized to harass, delay, and neutralize conservative and Tea Party organizations seeking tax-exempt status. Lois Lerner and her bureaucratic conspirators actively sabotaged the democratic process, subsequently hiding behind the Fifth Amendment when caught red-handed by congressional investigators. Senior leadership possessed clear, documented awareness of this Nixonian overreach, using the immense weight of the federal government to tilt the electoral playing field. This calculated destruction of institutional neutrality proved that the progressive state views every dissenting citizen as an enemy combatant to be administratively crushed.
@FinalTelegraph Excellent summary, well accounted!
The jackboots that landed on our necks in 2020 were distributed back then! The short sighted panic after 9-11 under GWB & Dick Cheney constructed the scaffolding for the edifice. It almost seems to have been planned.
The foundational myth of this administration crumbled the moment power was secured, exposing a chilling addiction to state secrecy. Liberals cheered for the promise of the most transparent administration in history, yet they silently tolerated an unprecedented domestic espionage campaign against the free press. His weaponized Justice Department aggressively seized the phone records of Associated Press journalists and explicitly labeled Fox News reporters as criminal co-conspirators for merely doing their jobs. This ruthless suppression of dissent occurred alongside the criminal negligence of Operation Fast and Furious, where federal agencies deliberately flooded Mexican drug cartels with automatic weapons. When those very firearms predictably slaughtered border patrol agent Brian Terry, the administration invoked executive privilege to bury the evidence, proving that progressive transparency is merely a shield for bureaucratic executioners.
Economic subversion and systemic gaslighting defined the domestic agenda, exemplified by the blatant deception used to ram Obamacare down the throats of the American populace. The infamous promise that citizens could keep their preferred healthcare plans earned the documented title of Lie of the Year because the entire architecture of the legislation required the forced destruction of existing private coverage. While working-class families watched their premiums skyrocket, politically connected green-energy grifters pocketed half a billion dollars in taxpayer loans for bankrupt operations like Solyndra. This callous disregard for human life manifested most horrifically in the Veterans Affairs wait-time scandal, where bureaucratic ghouls falsified records while neglected American heroes literally died waiting for basic medical attention.
Looking back you can see that most of the votes he got weren't cast in the belief he would do better, but in the hope that his election could absolve racial guilt, & the hope he wouldn't screw anything up irreparably.
They weren't votes, but indulgences bought.
@BafanaMNxumalo@BarackObama Question:
Why did the author construct the message with pristine souvenir-shop sea shells? 🧐
That's a lot of trouble to say so little.
😁😆😅😂🤣🤣😂😂😅😆
I assume you mean the green light, and the answer should be obvious:
To hit the right guy in the place most likely to ensure a satisfactory result.
