The wording used "Arteta was getting the better of Maresca 11v11" was wrong, but this analysis is 100% correct.

Arsenal played out from the back with ease like they do in almost every game, because they have over a dozen ways to create player advantages. Chelsea did not win a single ball in their high press nor made Arsenal made a bad pass to intercept. Arsenal had no issues progressing the ball to the other side of the pitch.

On the opposite end, Arsenal's press did cause some problems to Chelsea's buildup, specially when they made Caicedo receive back to goal, recovering 3 balls in the opposite end when 11v11.

But this is just one aspect of the game. Everything Arsenal did up to getting into the final 3rd was good, but then we rushed and misplaced way to many passess. What Chelsea did well 11v11 was to take advantage of those mistakes and use their wide overload, mostly on the right with Estevao, Pedro and Gusto or James to attack the space we leave there with Cala going high.

The game was played in their side of the field for the first 20 minutes, then they had a couple of successful counters between 20th and 30th minute, and then the game changed with the red card.

Dont think there was anything particularly interesting the tactical setups from both teams. It played as expected.

IMO, if the game would have remained 11v11 the battle was going to be between Arsenal being successful at slowly pushing Chelsea into their box and dominating the game in their side of the pitch, and Chelsea being successful at creating wide transitions to attack on the counter.
