I scroll through the trading space on here and there are lessons to learn

Don’t act like a victim; don’t complain. Everytime you complain, you put your weakness on public display

Anytime in life you take on a mission truly worthwhile, you take on responsibility to provide, or you want extreme results, then life will throw a lot of punches, and a few of those punches will connect pretty hard. And remember, you signed up for it.

You have to always think two steps ahead. Always be ready to pivot, to adapt, and to innovate. Don’t get caught off guard gloating when you could be doubling down when you have the mental leverage or window of opportunity to do so.

When someone wins the lottery, they are not rich. They are usually about six months away from being broke again because they don’t understand the concept of building a dollar, after follar, the value of those dollars made through the adversity lessons, critical innovation, and courageous pivots.

You must be able to stand there truthfully unafraid. Not because of the path that lies ahead of you, but because of the path that lies behind you. The foundation you built

“How to avoid emotions?” Probably one of the most popular questions in every trading chat…

Let me say this straight. First - what even is an emotion? An emotion is not some random inconvenience. It’s part of your system. Part of you. Millions of years of evolution. Your nature.

So the question itself is a bit… off.

Trying to avoid emotions is like asking:
how do I get rid of being human? You can’t.

Once you really understand that - everything shifts. The moment you fight emotions, you already lost. They were here before you became “disciplined”… and they’ll be here long after. So no - the goal is not to eliminate them.

The real question is: How do I learn to control my emotions… so they don’t control me?

Now that’s where power starts. That’s where choices appear. Here’s something most people miss:

Before every emotion - there is a trigger. And very often that trigger is not the market…
it’s your beliefs and expectations. Sometimes so deep, you don’t even see them.

Example: Can a red P&L on your screen create emotion? No. It’s just information. But your mind instantly connects it to a belief:

“Loss = I’m a loser”
“Being a loser = rejection, pain, judgment”
“Pain = danger”

And just like that… the trigger is pulled. Not by the numbers. By what those numbers mean to you.

So what’s the conclusion?

Stop trying to suppress emotions. Stop trying to run from them. That’s a losing game.

Instead - go deeper. Work with your beliefs. With the roots. With the meaning you assign to things. Because that’s what creates the emotional reaction. Your body follows your mind. Emotion is the body’s response.

So don’t fight the symptom… work with the source.

There are ways to rewire this. Real ones.
And yes - I share them in my streams.

But for now, just remember: The market doesn’t control your emotions. Your beliefs do.

My advice to all traders is to have multiple accounts for different situations. The same way you do your bank account. I have my main account with tradovate that pays for my cost of living. I have a fx account that I use just for fun money/ investment purchases, I have many prop accounts with different firms to help scale, and that I use to make content with. Then long term investment portfolio. Diversify and give yourself options for different situations.

🚨BREAKING: CA on Track to Have a Per-Mile Tax by Next Year.

People protest ICE, but ignore this: 41 CA Democrats voted in the State Assembly to potentially impose a 2 to 9 cent per mile tax on drivers and the amount owed would be tracked by a vehicle’s odometer.

Before codifying this, a California Transportation Commission will first be tasked with providing recommendations on how costly it should be, ranging anywhere from $1,200 to $4,200 per year per family.

Compound this onto Joe Biden’s surveillance law mandating cars past 2026 must come with a kill switch that shuts off the car if “impairment” is detected. And then imagine this being extended to political behaviors, like evading your mileage tax.

Bear this in mind as Newsom embarks on a 2028 candidacy: If we 17 million taxpayers throw an additional $71.4 billion at the Governor with this new tax, it will most certainly go to waste on the CARE Act, healthcare fraud, or something else.
