The grade 7s and 8s have been working on an experiential learning project. We created “keeper” quilts and are making bigger ones to share with local retirement homes. #experientiallearning@stephjwalker@SCDSB_Schools
So ridiculous. This all started because a medical officer said students should be in school, and not roaming around their communities. Ummm, do they really think cancelling Match Break will prevent this?!
NEW: Will March Break be cancelled for Ontario schools? Education Minister @Sflecce told me moments ago on @bttoronto that an announcement will be made next week.
A friend of mine has decided that this year he his honouring his friend’s memory by raising money to help families impacted by covid. If you can, please consider donating. He’ll be running 50km & 100km as part of the fundraising efforts.
Please RT.

Thanks a lot @fordnation & @Sflecce!! Digital resources that I used just 2 weeks ago are no longer available to us since you chose not to renew licenses. So not only did I NOT get the training you say I did, the resources I and my students) knew how to use are gone! #onted#etfo
Canadian School Library Day #CSLD2020 is also the first day of Media Literacy Week #MediaLitWk. Great connections here, and wonderful resources from @MediaSmarts. Take a look! https://t.co/lzrL4crBHV
@fordnation says that hydro rates increasing by 2% is just inflation. If it’s “just inflation” than how dare you cap teachers, nurses etc at a 1% raise. You’re effectively drowning the middle class. https://t.co/lXmOnrvEol
@GBDSS_Bumstead I’d say both students AND the age group are probably saying the same thing.
By the way...intermediate students are asking the same questions.
@ONTSpecialNeeds That’s great...but a little late. Not to mention @fordnation and company should have done more on Ontario.
Curious, is this new money or the money that was allocated back March, for this purpose?
