The people attacking or making fun of 17-year-old Gus Walz just don’t understand what JOY and LOVE are all about. They wish they had someone who cared as much about them as Gus does his dad.
Gus has a non verbal learning disability. He is neurodivergent and has ADHD. He is proud of his father. Now shut up already.
I’m glad to see people on both sides of the aisle pushing back on the filth that’s out there.
Treat people as if they are your own kids.
Tonight, I’m speaking at the @DemConvention about why @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz are the leaders our country needs right now. Tune in: https://t.co/Py5EMx43f5
The first 10 things I tell someone who wants to get clients from their content:
1. Get clear on who you want to help.
And what you want to help them do.
2. Make sure all your content aligns with that transformation.
And that your product/service does too.
3. Pick ONE social platform to focus on initially.
Don't try to be everywhere.
4. Set an output goal, not an outcome goal.
Publishing 100 issues of a newsletter is a stronger goal than getting 1,000 subscribers.
5. Come up with a unique twist on an existing format.
My newsletter is a single paragraph.
On my podcast people interview me - not the other way around.
Those unusual formats help my content stand out and get noticed.
6. Build relationships with your audience.
Relationships are more powerful than followers.
7. Write a list of 50 questions or challenges your ideal clients have.
Your initial content will answer those questions.
8. Be patient and realistic.
It takes time. Forget going viral.
9. Invest in yourself. If possible, spend money to grow.
If you're willing to invest 100 hours into something, you should be willing to invest $100 to get your ideal clients to see it.
10. Have a newsletter.
Your most important growth metric is the size of your email list.

BREAKING: Pete just cooked JD Vance.
"He said people who don't have children have no physical commitment to the future of the country… When I was deployed to Afghanistan, especially when there was a rocket attack going on, my commitment to this country felt pretty physical." 🔥
Thanks to @jspector’s helpful newsletter & engagement, I started writing again & made a commitment to do so every day for at least this week. https://t.co/JFQakWqyro
@jspector I am working on a book with a very niche topic/thesis. I want to introduce some of my work on my blog. My specific goal is to point others on social media (insta & Facebook— where I have followers/engagement) to my blog.
