Carrot Cake with Chocolate Topping
Ingredients
• 3 medium carrots (sheeled and chopped)
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup of oil
• 2 cups of sugar
• 2½ cups of wheat flour
• 1 spoon (soup) of baking powder

• 1 spoon (soup) of butter
• 3 spoons (soup) of chocolate powder
• ½ cup of sugar
• ½ cup of milk

Preparation Mode
1. Prepare the dough
In a blender, beat the carrots, eggs and oil until you get a homogeneous cream.
2. Mix the dry ones
In a bowl, put the sugar and flour. Add the cream from the blender and mix well until smooth.
3. Finalize
Incorporate the yeast gently.
4. Asse
Pour the dough into a greased and floured form. Take to a preheated oven at 180 °C for 35–40 minutes, or until you pass the toothpick test.

Coverage
1. In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients to medium heat, stirring constantly.
2. Boil for 3–5 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
3. Pour the still hot topping over the baked cake.
Tip: For a creamier topping, remove from heat as soon as it boils. For a firmer syrup, let it boil a little longer.
