@NCBEX Law students will be forced to suffer professionally, academically, and financially after going through three rigorous years of schooling just to get to this point. Everyone wants a bar exam, but should students and proctors be forced to risk their lives to do so?!
@NCBEX Even if students had a temporary license until they took the bar in the fall when will they study? What will they tell their clients or better yet the courts when they need weeks to study for the bar? Postponing the bar exam is detrimental to all law students.
Breaking news. Organization that makes money on administering the bar exam opposes ways around taking bar exam. #NCBE looking out for NCBE. https://t.co/lVAgD82z1k
Not offering the July bar or alternatives allowing people to start practicing without pause to take a Fall exam will be financially detrimental to law students.
NEW: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization that develops the bar exam has raised the possibility that the July test may not be offered because it requires hundreds of students to gather in a single location, potentially spreading the virus. https://t.co/gg3WlOtFGD
@mindykaling Thank you for #FourWeddingsAndAFuneral it was SO GOOD. Highly recommend watching during these trying times. You will laugh, cry, & scream at the TV in excitement!
This is weighing heavy on every 3L’s mind. Seems like the big bar prep companies will do their best to get paid and the students will remain an afterthought. As if this wasn’t disappointing enough.
The New York State Court of Appeals cancelled the July Bar exam & pushed it to the fall...
How are graduates supposed to study for the exam without school aid/support from anywhere else? (Reminder, graduates, many w families to provide for, will have no jobs during this time)
@TaeganSumners Symptoms can appear between 2-14 days. You are on what day 3? I’m that time you’ve interacted with people, went inside to sit and eat at gas stations, and walked the isles of Walmart. From Mexico, through airports, airplanes, yet don’t you don’t think you need to self quarantine.
If you have been out of the country and in and out of airports AND then fail to self quarantine you are selfish and ignorant. Putting other people at risk for your own benefit is NOT OK. Especially in a small community.
i just got back from italy & was required to self quarantine in my room for 14 days so my parents ate every meal with me from the hallway. i don’t deserve them :’)
