every asset and movement in the original edit had intention behind it, amplifying it's meaning

the ai version just mimicked the edit, and it STILL felt so much more soulless

paying $70 for ai to "recreate" is NOT worth it 😭

Opus 5.5 High was able to recreate this with just a few sentences.

SFX wise AI is no where near as good as you.

VFX wise, I dunno it's pretty similar.

This costed $70 and took 2 hrs with 14 version iterations. 1st version was good enough but wanted to get it frame by frame similar.

Let me know if I should drop the sauce on how to make this 👀

thats untrue, there's many instances of those "smear frames" that hold intention with where they are

here's to name a few
1. Original has lines of motion to indicate a "rewiring of the brain" - AI just draws a random circle
2. Original creates a motion of handling all different aspects of life (the icons) - AI makes the fkn amazon logo
3. Original has the black dot erraticly 'selecting' the icons (i can't say exact meaning its up to interpretation) but the AI just blackens the icons at random

Even so, let's not downplay the artist's intentional stylistic choices as just "smear frames"

REAL ADVICE
lowkey what i do is imagine instead of sharing content and HOPING it reaches someone, i instead visualize sharing it to my best friend/friend group

Making a post with that idea in mind helps me get stuff done even when its not perfect, it tricks my brain in being excited about sharing something!

3 things with this re-edit

- reframes are perfect, way better fit than the og
- 0:05 graphic is tiny and placed weirdly, use the space on his sides
- green glow makes it look blurry. selling HIGH QUALITY? gotta be crisp

not hating, rewatching ur own cuts like this is good practice
