Before Oct 7th no IDF officer went to study Ukraine.

@Briskerov @AmitSegal The Haredim in Israel are not representative of Orthodox Judaism. Most Orthodox Jews in Israel were not just opposed but repulsed by what they saw yesterday. Many of the more extreme Haredim are likely to become the new Karites. Came from Judaism but no longer counted.
