Every single so-called progressive politician in the U.S. put together isn’t worth a single fingernail clipping off of one Palestinian resisting dispossession and defending his people and homeland from colonization and genocide. They did not create this movement. They owe their relevance to it.

People have pointed to the fuller context of this clip as though it morally mitigates the literal both sides'ing of a genocide and rendering of Israelis as just products of trauma. The Israelis are not slaughtering Palestinians because they're traumatized from the Holocaust - we have many populations who've experienced genocide (which include concentration camps, rape of women, significant loss of total population, loss of language, etc) who are not incinerating entire families.
