@breakfasttv Horrible. When as a parent you find out the governments “medical masks” include just 2 ply disposible masks. One cant be optimistic about whats to come. Doesn’t help that the classroom “hepa” filter hasn’t been changed since last march
@breakfasttv Watching minister Lecce talk about how safe schools are, how his government has made schools safe, watching him dance around questions he doesn’t want to answer is like watching my 9 yr son try to explain why he thought washing my cars interior with a garden hose was a good idea.
@CityNews@citymississauga social distancing at its best. Over a 1km line one way, and .5 km line from the other way only@to reach. A Mosque on S. Sherman Way in Mississauga, filled with more cars, so much for a virtual service
@breakfasttv Now I wish our Education minister would stop dancing around questions. One year Of indirect answers and talking around questions is enough.
@breakfasttv They are finally doing the right thing. But they had to wait for another group to take ownership of the decision first, ie medical officials of peel and Toronto deciding to close schools first. You know, Just incase it was a bad decision so they could say “it wasn’t us”...
@breakfasttv question for mayor John Tory. With the roll out of shots in high risk areas, are people who live/work in the high risk area eligible for shots? Or just those who live in the area. I live in Mississauga, but work in a factory that’s in one of toronto high risk areas.
@garden_nome1@CP24@fordnation My wife is a teacher and was told she can’t work from home and has to report to her school to teach online. myself, can’t work remotely from home. I either go to work and get paid, or stay home unpaid and risk disciplinary actions for being away from work for more than a few days
@fordnation Part 2....can I ask minister lecce who’s going to legally watch my 8 and 11 yr old children? Are we expected to leave them alone at home while she teaches and I work?????? When that question was asked to the school board, the only answer given was “deal with it” it’s your problem
@fordnation With speculation of a complete southern Ontario lockdown, my wife who’s a teacher is being told that if it does happen, online education will be mandatory for all students and teachers are expected to report to their schools to teach... can I ask Prem lecce who’s going to cont’d
@CP24 When asked the question of who is going to take care of the kids, the only answer that was given by the school board was “deal with it” .... it’s not our problem...
