Great news. India shall host the Commonwealth Games in 2030. Prime Minister @narendramodi had consistently promoted games/sports. As CM, he had commenced the Khel Mahakumbh in Gujarat. From 2014, the Target Olympic Podium Scheme(TOPS) helped train athletes. Congratulations India.

This milestone reflects India’s growing stature as a global sports powerhouse and reaffirms our capability to host world-class multi-sport events with excellence.

For Gujarat, this is a moment of immense pride. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, the decisive guidance of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji, and the dynamic leadership of CM Shri Bhupendra Patel ji, the state has emerged as a vibrant hub for sports infrastructure, athlete development, and international sporting events.
