@JunksRadio there’s no drive anymore in college football. If you think you should’ve been in the playoff, go play the bowl game and dominate there. Shouldn’t Notre Dame want to prove they should be in?
@JunksRadio you almost have to be blindly confident that Jayden comes back and remains healthy. You can’t operate with the priority of making sure he doesn’t get hurt versus executing their game plan. They have to get away from just holding their breath til he gets hurt again.
@DcSportsKing31@JPFinlayNBCS I actually agree. Better chance of getting a dude now versus playing the whole development game. We need game breakers, not role players. Make a splash and get a guy to build around. I’d probably go defense. But I’m in for anyone that changes games
@JunksRadio we don’t even have studs to put role players around right now. We need 2-3 legitimate game breakers. There isn’t a single defensive player that you say “well we’re gonna have to pay that guy in a few years”. Probably a good indicator that your defense is horrible
Inside the mind of the @BlueJays hitting coach 🧠
David Popkins shared his philosophy on finding value in an offense, separating analytics from the eye test and the increase in bat speed among numerous Toronto hitters.
@JunksRadio I think before the deadline, an under the radar, but high impact move would be to go get a running back to help JCM. Try to get like a Braelon Allen or someone like that that could be paired with him for the future as well as help this year.
@JunksRadio I think people are underestimating how different Washington is going to look with Jayden and the weapons back. All the explosiveness is back in the offense and the play calling can be unlocked. We will look like a completely different team soon
@JunksRadio@DrinkSurfside That’s where the depth shows. Rachaad White is a damn good option as a backup, TB is rich at WR, and SF has McCaffrey. If he goes down, I’m not sure how well they do. I’m just not expecting everything to be business as usual with our injury list and holes.
The Cubs brought Billy Hamilton in to be a potential pinch run option on the postseason squad. Safe to say the legs are still there.
They've been pinch running him in Triple-A games to get the legs going again. 3 for 3 so far. Here's two of them on two straight pitches.
Players
This may be the most important baseball tweet you read.
College coaches don't want you, until you're physically similar to their players and you can absolutely dominate high school and travel ball competition.
College coaches are looking for physicality.
Strong, athletic bodies that play with incredible energy, passion and tempo.
They should be able to watch you play and know without a shadow of a doubt that you're addicted to strength and conditioning and winning is why you're playing.
Sometimes the best hitting development plan is..
Keep doing what you're doing.. But eat 4k calories per day and 175g+ of protein.
That's what's doing to make the biggest impact instead of that one little swing tweak.
Like always, find what YOU need.
