“People are finding out that after they give birth, their placenta is then taken, which is (one of) the richest source of stem cells, and it can be sold anywhere from 50,000 upwards to $500,000, but they can't sell it themselves.”

“One person talks about her story at the hospital after having her baby where she had a doula there with her, and the doula had brought her own cooler and asked the doctor if she could take the placenta. The doctor agreed, so she put it in the cooler, took it, and left the hospital. Then droves of different groups of people kept coming in looking for the placenta, but didn't tell the woman that and said that they had lost something

And then eventually she found out they were looking for the placenta”
