The Reason Men Have Nipples Is the Same Reason Transgender People Exist. No, Really.
Men have nipples because every human embryo starts identical.
For the first few weeks in the womb there is no male or female. Just a human being in development. Nipples form during that early identical stage before any sex differentiation has begun. By the time the biological process that creates male anatomy starts, the nipples are already there. So men keep them. They serve no reproductive function in males. They exist because the body built them before it knew which direction it was going.
That is not a design flaw. That is how human development actually works.
And it is exactly the same reason transgender people exist.
Here is the biology.
Around week six of pregnancy, if there is a Y chromosome, a gene called SRY switches on. This triggers the developing gonads to become testes. Those testes then produce testosterone. That surge of testosterone is what shapes male genital anatomy over the following weeks. Without it, female anatomy develops by default. This entire process, from the SRY gene switching on to genital formation being complete, happens between roughly weeks six and twelve of pregnancy.
Then the process stops. The genitals are done.
The brain has barely started.
Brain development continues throughout pregnancy and the sexual differentiation of the brain, the process that shapes whether your neurological architecture develops along male or female lines, happens in the second half of pregnancy. It is driven by a different hormonal environment at a different time. The hormones reaching the developing brain are not identical to the ones that shaped the genitals weeks earlier. The levels differ. The timing differs. The specific brain regions being shaped differ.
This is not one process. It is two entirely separate biological events happening weeks apart under different conditions.
And here is the part that changes everything.
Those two processes can be influenced differently. The hormonal environment during genital development and the hormonal environment during brain development do not have to match. Genetics, the mother’s hormone levels, the sensitivity of the fetal cells to hormones, chance variations in the biological cascade, all of these can produce a situation where the genitals develop one way and the brain develops another.
When that happens you get a person whose neurological sex does not match their anatomical sex.
That is a transgender person.
Not a choice. Not a trend. Not social media. Something that happened in the womb before the person had a name, before they had a single thought, before they had any awareness of the world they were entering.
This has been published in Nature since 1995. Confirmed by multiple independent research teams across three decades. Over 100 genetic links documented. The World Health Organisation agrees. The Royal College of Psychiatrists agrees. Every major medical institution on earth agrees.
You already accepted that male nipples make sense once you understood how human development works.
Transgender people make sense for exactly the same reason.
The biology was always there.
It just never got explained this simply.

Trans people are living through an era that mirrors every major civil rights battle. Whenever a marginalised group fought for dignity, opponents hid behind so-called "beliefs."

When racism was challenged, they claimed (and still do) “free speech”. When homophobia was called out, they shouted about "child protection.”

Now, gender-critical ideology repeats the same tactics—targeting a minority, then demanding freedom from consequences.

The gender-critical activists claim their views are "reality," but the reality for trans people is brutal: misgendering, exclusion, denying our identities, and trying to strip away our rights.

That’s discrimination - pure and simple.

It’s as real and damaging as racism or homophobia. Wrapping bigotry in pseudoscience or moral panic doesn’t make it acceptable. Calling it a "protected belief" changes nothing.

Trans people’s dignity and safety have been under attack for years - our existence is declared "controversial." Our rights are put on trial, supposedly to balance them against someone else’s feelings that they dont feel "comfortable."

No other minority is forced to tolerate this abuse or told that targeted hostility is just someone else’s opinion. To be clear: Beliefs can be protected. Prejudice in action cannot.

A fair society does not allow anyone to weaponise their beliefs to harm others. Civil rights law already draws this line. You can hold racist or sexist beliefs, but you cannot harass or discriminate. The same principle must apply to trans people.

That’s why we must draw a hard line against gender-critical discrimination and harassment.

This isn’t about silencing conversations - it’s about stopping real harm, happening right now, to a vulnerable marginalised minority at the heart of a culture war

Trans people deserve workplaces, schools, and communities where our dignity is not up for debate – trans people are people.

However, because of the manifestation of gender-critical beliefs, they frequently cross the line into outright discrimination - often in the workplace - often on social media - exactly on platforms like this.

When translated into action, they are totally indistinguishable from racism, homophobia, or antisemitism.

The gender critics won’t like that… sometimes truth hurts.

Billionaire gives Harry Potter money to sue The NHS and Human rights charities.

Is it hard to separate the artist from the art?
On 8 August, an NHS trust said trans women could continue using women-only spaces. JK Rowling replied publicly: “Then the lawsuits will keep coming. Should any female patient or member of staff require funding to fight this assault on their legal rights, apply to jkrwforg.”
She is offering to bankroll lawsuits against the National Health Service.
The NHS. The one with 7.4 million people on waiting lists. The one where people wait months for cancer diagnostics and cardiac care. The one being asked to defend itself in court, using money and time and legal resource that could go to patients, because a billionaire has decided which toilet a nurse uses is worth litigating.
Every hour an NHS trust spends on legal defence is an hour not spent on treatment. Every pound is a pound not spent on care.
In the same month, she threatened Amnesty International with legal action over a report that named her charity.
A billionaire is using Harry Potter money to sue a human rights organisation and to fund lawsuits against the health service.
That’s the legacy. That’s what it was all for.
Separate the artist from the art if you can. She’s made it very difficult.

The UK is trying to wipe trans people out through legislation. Banning us from everything, removing legal recognition, preventing transition. The NHS Gender Service is run BY actual conversion therapists.

Labour has a draft bill banning conversion therapy - unless it takes place in a health setting.

Labour have also appointed an envoy - Lord Collin - to tell the world the UK is a FAB place to be LGBT.

Pointing all of this out in the UK has zero effect. The trans community is never consulted on any of these decisions.
