Africa will be defined by its builders, a new generation unbound by the mental chains of those before us. We are the dreamers of dreams, the thinkers, the movers and shakers, the myth-makers. We are the ones brave enough to dare and ambitious enough to pursue our own greatness, and in doing so, we will define what this generation becomes. To my brothers and sisters reading this: dream on. And to those who doubt, watch what we bring into existence.
Why aren't we raving more about Grok Bot?no like really?? Most refined persistent agent I've used. Within an hour I dropped my Codex Dot, unlimited usage and all, because none of it beat my Grok Bots. And it lives inside your X feed, so it's actually on top of things for you. Get even the cheapest tier.
My chief of staff Bot even set up a digest bot for me that looks at X 3 times a day and extracts high value posts from the ai side of things. The quality of what it’s finding is so good and well calibrated. This alone makes it worth it for me as a builder, being on the edge is the name of the game. Maybe I can finally try and sleep more

such is the nature of the times. software as a whole is becoming more open. with these models, you can reverse engineer and recreate just about any piece of software you can think of including this site. copying websites is probably the least of our concerns lol. I always tell my builder community that the real focus should be on building things whose moat and value go beyond the code itself. the code is becoming commoditised. what you build around it is what matters.
yebo, especially as the layers of abstraction continue to bubble up the more model capabilities increase. Lately I’ve actually been getting a few cli tools and projects built out in rust purely for the efficiency gains and it’s been going phenomenal in terms of the quality of the output and the performance gains I’m getting along with the other added benefits rust brings. But sometimes I’ll still jam out in Nest.js for backends or Python for more data based stuff, basically just use whatever is best for the task at hand frameworks, stacks, etc don’t matter anymore they are just a means to an end
Grok Bot tip, get a bot setup that continuously checks X for any security news on things like supply chain attacks and the like and then also give it access to your repos on GitHub and get it to triage and check if there’s anything in your codebases that could be effected by whatever it found.
@DistinctLee Keep doing what you’re doing man, Africa needs more people like you. There is a very powerful movement forming here and we need to make sure it breaks through by all means. Let us set forth a new wave
I just got Grok Bot and it is definitely worth it, one of the most high leverage mover for builders tbh. Simple example I got my lead bot to create a bot that’s dedicated to reading my X feed and bookmarks, I am chronically online and always want to stay on the edge of what’s happening and this right here is it!
@thsottiaux couldn’t agree more! I always tell my friends that we should use this tech to evolve and become ever more capable, don’t give up your thinking to the machine, instead use the machine to amplify your thinking and accelerate the qualities you want to develop.
@VictorTaelin you sir are surely onto something, cooking. Please make some videos around these topics, we’d all be very interested in learning more and I don’t really know many people in the space speaking on it the way you do right now
If you’re a windows user and make use of agents please remember to get WSL, Linux is a real joy for running lots of these buggers efficiently. Also set sparseVhd=true when you do it so your OS can reclaim that space from WSL without your intervention.
tmux + herdr over tailscale running inside of ghostty, really effective for wrangling the agents that run across my fleet here in my studio and in the cloud. Usually I’ll be at my desk but sometimes a bean bag session with just my mac is needed.
