Our students are #MoreThanAScore‼️
We have eight SJH and SHS girls who are part of the Dynamic Cheer team, Lady X. This past weekend, Lady X won first place in their division and was the Grand Champion of all the senior-level division teams. Congratulations!
There are no BAD kids!
There are kids who:
-have been traumatized
-have little hope for the future
-haven’t experienced success or love
-haven’t learned to regulate emotions
-have been repeatedly disappointed by adults
It’s NEVER too late to help a kid who is struggling!
Many schools are hiring staff for the new school year- Here’s a tip- “If you hire people just because they can do a job, they’ll work for your money. But if you hire people who believe what you believe, they’ll work for you with blood and sweat and tears.”
― Simon Sinek
I am thankful that @SplendoraISD for creating an environment where students are still learning. The productive struggle, time management, and improved communication skills are evident. Students are learning real world lessons that will prove to be invaluable.
I challenge you to call or FaceTime (no texting) someone you haven’t checked on in a while. Relationships are vital to getting everyone through challenging times. @IHeartCKH@SplendoraISD@PeachCreekElem
Educators, work/home balance has always been blurred but now is nonexistent. Take time for yourself! And Remember parents are struggling too so they may not be able to email you until late at night, just let them know you’ll respond in 24 hrs. That way stress is minimized for all
First Day of Virtual Learning was a huge success! It was amazing to see our kids eager to learn and our teachers exceeding expectations. @SplendoraISD@duanabrashear@PeachCreekElem
Good Thing! It’s Friday night and my girls have their virtual classrooms open and are working on their assignments. The amazing detail is that class doesn’t officially begin until Monday. Thank you @SplendoraISD for teachers that are eager to keep our kids engaged in learning.
