@NiallFarrell218 Agree with Niall's point. If you get rid of the year's service I think you will actually see a much larger exodus of teachers leaving post graduation and for longer periods. The years of service pay scale is probably what's drawing them back after 2-3 years not 10-15 years.
@Dave12848372723 @Harlequins How is it Man City when 17 of the Leinster squad came through there academy and from Leinster. The population of Leinster is 2.8mil people as well as Rugby being 4th choice sport. Stop moaning about unfairness and sort your shit youth system out.
@FMC_Rugby Good player don't get the hype tbh. He doesn't strike me as a specialist 7 like a JVDF etc. Sort of like Ben Earl athletic undersized back row? You could start 1 but not 2 as i think you would lose too much power in the pack at international level.
@Halligan88 The Brits are like a lad who hasn't got the ride in a long time when it comes to their horses. It's been so long that they start trying to justify to themselves that a 5 is actually a 10!
@JoeNaConnacht Loved Tracey at U20 level think he has a bit about him for a winger he not afraid to get stuck in. Also his pace is something we need outside at international level. Looking at their backline I honestly think Frawley or Harry Byrne would gel so well.
@GavanCasey There was a rule brought in regarding eligibility for SCT a number of years ago to combat poaching so I don't think that is the case here. Anyway who cares if the lads want to play pro rugby moving to either of those schools programmes gives them the best opportunity.
@Nick_Delehanty The headline is incorrect there was no LNG facility in the planning application. This planning application was just for the gas turbines and battery.
@JoeNaConnacht Players who should be breaking through this world cup cycle Izzy, Postelwhaite,Wilson,Gleeson,Edogbo,Ahern,Forde, Gavin,Bolton,Devine,Soroka,Mangan,McCarthy x 2, A Osborne,Smyth x2,Tector, Boyle,Culhane. I think we will be fine!
@rodrig39386@thepaulwilliams broke through already. 2020-2024 u20 Irish teams were stacked so plenty of lads to start coming through during this world cup cycle to replace guys retiring.
@rodrig39386@thepaulwilliams John it's quality over quantity at u20s. Ireland compete very well at u20s against more physically developed teams. By the time the Irish lads hit 24 they have caught up physically and supersede their counterparts from u20's. 2019 6N team knocking on the door now with some having
@jCarrol74499089@eoinoconnor28@thepaulwilliams I think a lot of our lads need to develop physically which is the issue. Some lads can jump straight in but vast majority need a few years like Prendergast who could probably put on a few stone of muscle.
@GerryBridgett@BarryWhyte85 Oh 100% find it hilarious that people think they have a divine right to be able to buy a home that fits all their needs within walking distance of a capital city centre. Crumlin is not what it was 20-30 years ago and either is Ireland.
@Overthehillprop Bad day at the office but people writing him off are nuts. He will grow physically and they will develop a system for him like they did for sexton. Plenty of youth coming through. Bad day at the office no need to overreact.
@Overthehillprop Look Sexton didn't make his debut in the six nations until he was 24. Sam just turned 22 last month and basically jumped from 20's straight into senior international in the most important and pressurized position. Squad has injuries, lads playing out of position and 2 yellows.
@jCarrol74499089@eoinoconnor28@thepaulwilliams 20s were ravaged by injury in the pack so bit unfair. There is a heap of lads coming that have potential to be in that squad come next world cup Izzy,Postelwhaite,Wilson,Gleeson,Edogbo,Ahern,Forde, Gavin,Illo,Soroka,Mangan,McCarthy x 2, A Osborne,Smyth x2,Tector,Boyle,Culhane etc
@eoinoconnor28@thepaulwilliams I think it's a positive loss for the team in all honesty. Along with the retirements I think it will force management to blood more youth which should give us more power and dynamism going forward. Also the young lads we have already will take a lot of learnings from today.
@eoinoconnor28@thepaulwilliams Nash is not international standard, Osborne is not a winger as well as still being green, Henshaw is not a 13 then you have an inexperienced/green out half who is still developing physically. People take digs at Prendergast but with 2 yellows and that outside him he did well.
