NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR RCS STRONG OUTSTANDING STAFF AWARDS
It’s hard to believe we’ve been back to school for a month!
Nominations are being accepted NOW to recognize employees who have gone above and beyond during the first four weeks of school. Please follow this link (https://t.co/PVz1MvTpn1) to submit a nomination for our employee awards program, which is sponsored by the Sonic drive-ins of Rutherford County.
We want everyone to know that Rutherford County Schools is the premier provider of quality PreK–12 education. Part of that effort is recognizing the servant-leaders in our schools who give their best every day to help children reach their goals.
This year, we are continuing and improving our employee recognition program, and we are adding a new category. The program is known as the Strong Outstanding Staff Award, and each month we will honor five employees from one of five employee categories.
We know there are many different types of employees who make our schools successful. Each month, we will recognize:
• transportation staff, such as drivers, bus aides, and crossing guards;
• school support staff, such as teacher aides, secretaries, custodians, and cafeteria workers;
• assistant principals or principals;
• one teacher; and
• new this year, one central office employee.
Nominations will be accepted from parents, students, and RCS employees. Our leadership team will then review the nominations each month and select honorees based on those submissions.
We’d again like to thank the Sonic restaurant locations throughout Rutherford County which — for the second year — are sponsoring these monthly awards and providing gift cards to the winners.
