Ps sports @ElijahGMwangi , you went on NTV to lie about my registration, i proved you wrong, and as if not enough. The federation is making dangerous claims, the same federation that received my money Ksh. 380,000 and they have never given me. Why were you receiving me after african Championship then?? Is this how you avoid accountability?? The cs sports @Waziri_Mvurya , when hardworking Kenyan athletes are in danger because of incompetent ministry officials, serious questions arise. Regardless of the ill treatment, we shall fight to make sure that our dignity is not something to play around with, not now, not in the future.
Miguna Miguna is most ungrateful in his unjustified and unwarranted criticism of Edwin Sifuna. Sifuna was the first responder when Miguna was seized that Friday morning.
Sifuna, myself and many other volunteer Advocates risked our lives fighting for his liberty from March 2018 until 20th October, 2022 when he received his passport and went straight to State House to celebrate with the people who had oppressed him.
For the record, Sifuna went as far as raising funds from well wishers to support our fight for Miguna. Miguna is a monumental disgrace and shame to humanity as well as the legal profession.
My plans for Kiambu County are big and radical.
As Governor, I will slash fees for licenses for any small business with gross turnover of less than KSH 500,000 a month.
Small businesses will pay KSH 0 for licenses.
Because we should want small businesses to thrive.
Why do we need to ask mama mboga to pay KSH 12,000 in license fees to facilitate county largesse and wastage?
Before someone says: how can this work?
Let me put some numbers on the table.
Kiambu raises about KSH 900 million in fees from permits. This includes big and small businesses.
Much of this is from barbershops, small shops, and the like.
The sad thing is, what happens when that money gets in the hands of the government.
The data is unmistakable: much of this is wasted.
In three years, @Wamatangi_ has spent KSH 55 billion.
Supposed to serve 2.5 million people.
But he spent KSH 23.5 billion- 43% on average, on salaries for 0.7% of the county population.
When the limit is 35%.
That way - he has stolen KSH 4.3 billion in just three years from citizens.
In illegal diversion through salaries.
The county wasted KSH 1.26 billion on wasteful travel. This amount benefited no one - other than those in government.
KSH 7.6 billion in expenses have ZERO receipts. In three years.
KSH 403 million in wasteful court fees due to incompetence.
KSH 361 million in ‘fuel expenses’ without one receipt.
Do you see the problem?
The problem is the lack of discipline. It’s incompetence. It’s greed.
We charge mama mbogas KSH 10,000 or KSH 12,000, so that we can waste KSH 1.2 billion travelling to nowhere.
So that we can steal from citizens.
I will end this madness.
I will bring discipline to government.
I will bring common sense and business sense to government.
Prudence. Purpose. Progress.
It took a little longer than expected, but we have finished the Gaza Geolocation Map. Every clip in the archive whose location we know is placed on a map of Gaza, so you can see where the footage was filmed.
It includes:
35,200+ videos and photos placed on the map.
Sources and the original post for every clip
Node map links & suggested leads
Our built-in AI iris can navigate the map
Fully searchable index
Filters by area, date, type of attack and precision
UN satellite damage survey layer (UNOSAT)
Built-in reverse image search links for each node
Downloadable dataset (CSV, GeoJSON and Google Earth)
It can be accessed here: https://t.co/4irNy85XQW
Please re-share and help us break out of the algorithm prison.
We will keep placing more of the footage as our researchers work through the rest of the archive.
Thank you to https://t.co/c8bmQF2iME, GeoConfirmed, @AbuLocation and @NemoAnno, whose geolocation work is credited on the map.

This is becoming interesting.
Uhuru Kenyatta calls Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina back to the stage to repeat an announcement she made on opposition unity.
Njeri says opposition leaders must meet and agree on who will face William Ruto in next year’s election.
She also cautions that any candidate who refuses to support the one chosen will be labelled a mole.
For those who understand Kikuyu, what is Uhuru saying after Njeri’s remarks?
It has emerged that key documents, including the signed agreement for Dangote’s Sh2.2 trillion Lamu refinery, have not been made public as required by Kenyan law, despite Wednesday’s groundbreaking.
Pope Leo XIV apologised for the Catholic Church’s historic role in slavery and for taking centuries to fully condemn the practice.
His acknowledgement speaks to a painful part of Africa’s history. Millions of Africans were captured, sold and transported through the transatlantic slave trade, while institutions and economic systems benefited from their exploitation.
For Africa, an apology can open an important conversation about historical memory, responsibility and the lasting consequences of slavery. It also raises questions about how institutions that benefited from or participated in systems of exploitation should acknowledge that history.
An apology cannot undo what happened. But acknowledging the harm can help keep the history visible and create space for deeper conversations about justice, dignity and the relationship between Africa and institutions that shaped its past.
For many Africans, remembering this history is also about ensuring that exploitation in any form is never normalised again.
