@AFTVMedia Absolutely not…arteta has finally got rid of the bad eggs in our squad who believe they are bigger than the club. Can you imagine him sitting on the bench behind Jesus and being happy 😂😂
@piersmorgan@Auba Not for free though was it - he was on our bench or not in squad costing 25 million in wages so I’d say that’s a fair bit of cash back in the bank...🤨🙄
@piersmorgan@m8arteta Probably not as he is probably watching highlights of how the @Arsenal are performing much better without a player putting in sub par performances 🤣
@roo1625 @TSBreakfast That’s true - and in fairness we probably wouldn’t be having this discussion if all laws were interpreted and used consistently the same way in each game 👍🏻
@roo1625 @TSBreakfast I just think that if Gabi was on a booking he wouldn’t have ran on and made the silly ‘take one for the team’ type foul. I think the ref could have took a view on the whole situation as opposed to simply going to letter of the law and seeing them as isolated incidents 👍🏻
@roo1625 @TSBreakfast That would be the ‘letter of the law’ argument which based on that I totally get however if that’s the case then we need to consistency. The ref is on the pitch and I feel needs to make a call on whether that sequence of events really warranted a sending off.
@roo1625 @TSBreakfast Just a thought using the same logic - if after the 2nd foul the wolves player managed to swing a cross at same time the push in back came in and they scored. Would the ref have gone back and given 2 yellows?
@roo1625 @TSBreakfast I totally agree - which I why I say the ref is there to make a judgement call on the pitch.
Was Gabi malicious in his actions, I would say no so surely common sense should prevail.
@piersmorgan I would say we saw leaders all over that pitch for once - we just dug in and got a result that I would suggest in recent years we would have gone on to lose?
Ramsdale, White, Gabriel etc all stepped up to lead by example and remain solid as a team! #coyg

@piersmorgan@m8arteta@Auba World class player, no doubt. I would say at 32 years old we had best years - even if he started scoring again we will have maybe 1 more year before going as we wouldn’t renew for a 34 year old. Team needs to move in new direction and this was great chance to reduce wage bill 👍🏻
@piersmorgan Best striker but hasn’t played since early December? I agree he has been our best player over past seasons and has carried us but clearly we need move on. Save 25 million on wages for a player who isn’t going to play…good business to me?!
