Who started calling it a “boycott” in the first place? Who took hearsay and dragged it onto social media? Who amplified a narrative without bothering to verify the facts? And who took the words of a few individuals and conveniently turned them into the voice of an entire fandom?

I thought we were supposed to fight misinformation and false narratives. Yet here you are, doing exactly what you claim to oppose.

Y'all took a handful of negative opinions, stitched them together, removed the context, and built an entire narrative around them. Then you labeled a whole fandom as being against the movie.

For what?

SB19 is literally in the film. Do you seriously think we are stupid enough to hate or boycott a movie featuring the very artists we support?

Not every opinion you see online represents an entire fandom. Not every screenshot is proof of a collective stance. And not every loud, toxic account deserves to be treated as a spokesperson for thousands of people.

Before you preach your one-sided version of the story, maybe take a STEP BACK and ask how the narrative started in the first place. Look at what your fellow fans were saying about us, how they framed the issue, and how y'all helped amplify it.

Your fandom may not be responsible for how far the fire spread, but don't pretend you had nothing to do with the spark.

You cannot claim to be fighting misinformation while actively helping a false narrative gain traction.

That is not calling out misinformation.
That is becoming part of it.

I find it really funny that everybody was calling Genshin Impact a "Breath of the Wild clone" back in 2020. But after six years of popularity, we got Nintendo blatantly ripping off Genshin Impact by copying Mondstadt's entire aesthetic down to the letter. Shameless behavior.
