@0xchiikawat@HTX_Molly I think you can also use the approach of sending your crypto to decentralized exchanges first but from centralized to centralized, maybe to metamask or trust wallet before moving to the next centralized exchange
@StraitsX Hi @StraitsX, I’ve been trying to get in touch regarding your card issuance/issuer processing solution for our fintech platform,I completed and returned the requested questionnaire to your team, but I’m still awaiting a response on the next steps.
Dear @Anthropic, Nigerians deserve an explanation.
Today, I cancelled my Claude Max 5x subscription.
Not because I don’t like Claude I actually do.
I cancelled because I can’t justify paying ₦199,900/month for a plan that is advertised at $100/month.
Today’s official Google exchange rate is approximately ₦1,373.68/$1.
That means:
• $100 ≈ ₦137,368
• Even after Apple fees, VAT, and reasonable taxes, the price should be somewhere around ₦145,000 ₦155,000, not ₦199,900.
It gets worse.
Claude Max 20x is advertised at $200/month.
At today’s exchange rate:
• $200 ≈ ₦274,736
• Even allowing for taxes, a price around ₦290,000–₦310,000 would be understandable.
Yet Nigerians are being charged ₦399,900.
That’s a difference of nearly ₦100,000.
What’s even more surprising is that OpenAI’s ChatGPT prices in Nigeria are much closer to the expected exchange rate for comparable plans.
So my questions to @Anthropic are:
• Why are Nigerian customers paying such a large premium?
• Is this due to Apple’s regional pricing, Anthropic’s own pricing policy, or something else?
• Will you review these prices and make them fair?
Nigeria has one of the fastest-growing AI communities in the world. Developers, founders, students, and researchers shouldn’t have to pay a significantly higher effective price simply because of where they live.
I’m attaching screenshots of:

If this pricing isn’t reviewed, many Nigerians will simply choose alternatives that offer more transparent regional pricing.
@Anthropic, we’d appreciate a clear explanation.
A good closing line to boost engagement is:
Please repost if you believe Nigerians deserve fair AI pricing. 🇳🇬
