Attempted kidnapping of law student at Eduvos Midrand:

A 19-year-old female law student was attacked by three unidentified men at the Eduvos Midrand campus on Friday, 28 August.

The suspects tried to force her into a white Audi, but she resisted and screamed for help. A passer-by intervened, prompting the men to flee.

The student’s cellphone was stolen during the struggle.

The student is reportedly traumatised and receiving support from her family.

The family has called on authorities and service providers to act swiftly and ensure the incident is fully investigated.
