@Maeterlinck Was it really necessary to ruin the video by showing the credits all throughout the video? Couldn’t they just show them at the end for whomever wants to read them? Is their ego so big that they must force people to see their names because it is so important? @BBC
@clashreport It would be easier and more effective to just make all conditions of employment at will and let employers and employees (unions) negotiate their own conditions. Then, if an employer negotiates not paying sick leave or firing people who take too many days off, that’s fine.
@UHN_Plus “Millones”? Error o estadísticas inventadas por lo que es cierto es que ni remotamente se construyeron “millones” de viviendas. Y las que se construyeron pues ya ven, eran de pésima calidad.
@markklfc Apparently, Sir Alex Ferguson and Zlatan Ibrahimovic made the same exact statement. I’m curious to know if this is a genuine mistake made by someone misquoting the original source, or if it’s a deliberate and coordinated fake news campaign.
Zlatan Ibrahimović on Japan's dominant 4-0 victory over Tunisia at the World Cup:
🗣️ “People need to stop calling Japan a surprise package. At some point, when you keep producing performances like this, you're no longer a surprise you're a serious contender.”
“A 4-0 win at the World Cup is not normal. You don't destroy teams by accident. You do it because you have quality, organization, confidence, and players who know exactly what they're doing.”
“What impresses me most is the way they play. There is no fear, no hesitation, no respect for reputations. They attack with intensity, defend as a unit, and make life miserable for every opponent.”
“Before the tournament started, everyone was talking about the traditional favourites. But match after match, Japan are quietly forcing their way into that conversation.”
“If I'm one of the big nations watching this performance, I'm worried. Very worried. Because Japan look like a team that is improving with every game they play.”
“The scary thing is that they don't look satisfied. Even at 3-0, even at 4-0, they keep pressing, keep running, and keep searching for more. That's the mentality of a team that believes it can achieve something special.”
“You can have all the star players in the world, but if you come up against a team playing with this level of discipline and confidence, you're going to suffer.”
“Right now, Japan are slowly becoming one of the favourites to win this World Cup. Some people won't like hearing that, but football doesn't care about reputations it cares about performances.”
“And trust me, any team that gets drawn against Japan in the next round won't be celebrating. They'll be wondering how they're supposed to stop them.”
Tulio Bracho here. I have a couple of questions for the besties:
1) In your opinion, what are the top three innovations that will produce the most economic and societal value in the next 10-20 years?
2) Who are the most impressive founders you know who still aren’t well known by the public? What do you like about them? What are they working on?
“Oh my god… I have no words.”
Listen to the emotional moment this year’s laureate Maria Corina Machado finds out she has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Kristian Berg Harpviken, Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, shared the news with her directly before it was announced to the world.

It's actually pretty simple. These people don't care at all about Palestine or Israel. They are anarchists (these groups have a long history in Spain, France, and Europe overall). They are anti-system and take advantage of any excuse to cause disorder. That fulfills their need to feel rebellious.
They are the same people who burn the city when El Barça wins a championship, when there are political protests, or when things are too good or too bad. I'm afraid that until Europe doesn't adopt anti-vandalism measures similar to Singapore's, we'll continue seeing the anarchists destroy our cities, only for business owners and citizens (with our taxes) to then have to rebuild what they destroyed.
