தலைவர் கலைஞரைப் பற்றியோ, தி.மு.க.வைப் பற்றியோ அவதூறாகப் பேசுவதையே அரசியல் தகுதியாக இன்னும் எத்தனை காலத்திற்கு நினைத்துக் கொள்ளப்போகிறார்கள் என்று தெரியவில்லை. எல்லாவற்றையும் நம்புவதற்கு ஒரு கூட்டம் இருக்கும் வரை, எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் பேசுவதற்கு ஒரு கூட்டமும் இருந்துகொண்டுதான் இருக்கும்.

காவல்துறை மீதான மானியக் கோரிக்கை விவாதத்திற்கு பதிலுரை அளிக்க வேண்டிய முதலமைச்சர், எழுதிக் கொடுத்ததைப் படிப்பதைத் தவிர, கேள்விகளுக்கு நேரடியாகப் பதில் சொல்ல முடியாமல், நீண்ட சொற்பொழிவை நிகழ்த்திவிட்டு, எதிர்வினை வந்துவிடுமோ என்ற பயத்தில் விவாதத்தையே சபாநாயகர் தவிர்த்திருக்கிறார்.

கடந்த மூன்று நாட்களாக காவல்துறை மானியக் கோரிக்கை மீதான விவாதத்திற்கு பதிலுரை அளிக்க ஒத்திகை பார்த்தும், அந்த மானியக் கோரிக்கை தொடர்பாக முதலமைச்சர் பேசியது சொற்பமே. மற்றவை எல்லாம் காலம் காலமாகப் பரப்பப்பட்ட வதந்திகளையும், சமீபத்திய WhatsApp factory பொய்களையும் கலந்து, முதலமைச்சருக்கு ஒரு பிரதியைக் கொடுத்துவிட்டார்கள் என்றுதான் நினைக்கத் தோன்றுகிறது.

சட்டம்-ஒழுங்கு குறித்தும், குழந்தைகள் & பெண்களின் பாதுகாப்பு குறித்தும், பிற மக்கள் பிரச்சனைகள் குறித்தும் பேச வேண்டிய சபை, இன்று சர்க்கஸ் கூடாரமாக மாறியிருக்கிறது.
