@RevRichardColes It seems to me that as a matter of principle a free society is entitled to balance the rights of those protesting with the rights of those protested against. The arrests at the Coronation seem to have struck a reasonable balance in practice. Protesting allowed, disruption not.

@DanNeidle Don’t you have to value the shares at the moment of purchase? Which means valuing the rights they carry? (I’m not carrying a torch for this scheme, I’m just trying to guess how the underpinning advice goes!)

@DanNeidle Is there wiggle room within the terms of the B shares? Assume that they carry no RIGHT to any particular dividend and that payments are entirely discretionary. Would that be enough to show that their value isn’t the NPV of the school fees??
