CANTON 1.0.1: The Blind Postmen Strategy
GM! ☀️ Let's learn something new today.
Most networks require the infrastructure ordering your transactions to see exactly what's inside them.
@CantonNetwork does the opposite. Its Sequencers act like blind postmen. They sequence, timestamp, and route transaction packets without ever decrypting or knowing what assets are inside.
Total ordering efficiency. Zero data exposure.
Question: Can a validator order a transaction it cannot read? 🤔
TUNDE'S CANTON WEEKLY RECAP
The biggest developments across the Canton ecosystem this week and why they matter.
Institutional Progress
@Tradeweb completed the first atomic on-chain U.S. Treasury settlement on @CantonNetwork, marking another step toward institutional adoption of tokenized real-world assets.
@trize_io introduced the first on-chain Proof of Insurance solution, built with Chainlink and Canton, expanding the infrastructure available for compliant RWA markets.
@Mastercard's ongoing integration of Canton for stablecoin settlement continues to reinforce confidence in the network's enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Network Evolution
Logical Synchronizer upgrades delivered zero-downtime network updates, improving reliability for institutions operating on Canton.
@turnkeyhq added support for Canton, bringing more secure wallet infrastructure and a smoother onboarding experience for enterprises.
@ZenithFdn expanded Canton's capabilities with a native EVM execution layer, creating new opportunities between Ethereum applications and institutional finance.
Ecosystem Watch
@Arccadeio locked 10M CC under the CIP-116 framework, marking another milestone for ecosystem participation.
@HandlPay continued its momentum with the EDELx listing, over $50M in trading volume, 300K+ users, cETH integration, a USDC bridge, liquidity pools, and the launch of $HANDL Holding Rewards ahead of HandlPay 2.0.
@hectoinc introduced Predictions V2, backed merit-based investor access, and previewed Hecto Vaults as part of its long-term roadmap.
@edeldotfinance responded quickly to its recent exploit, restored affected depositors, and deployed V2 with stronger oracle architecture and governance protections.
Looking Ahead
@CantonFdn's Platinum sponsorship of WebX Asia highlights its continued commitment to expanding institutional adoption and ecosystem visibility across the Asia-Pacific region.
Bottom Line
Every week, Canton adds another piece to the institutional blockchain stack. Whether it's financial market infrastructure, developer tooling, or ecosystem growth, the network continues to move from concept to production.

Canton 1.0.0: The Death of Global Consensus 🚫
Most blockchains force every single validator on the network to check and witness your transactions.
@CantonNetwork destroys this model. It uses Proof-of-Stakeholder consensus, meaning only the specific parties involved in a contract validate its data.
If Bank A and Bank B execute a trade, rest of the global network has zero idea it even exists.
Question: Does the rest of the network need to see your trade?

@ZenithFdn Appreciate it! The JGB repo market is a strong example that tokenization is moving beyond theory and into real-world financial infrastructure. Looking forward to learning more and sharing the journey.
Imagine buying a government bond as easily as sending USDT to a friend.
Sounds unrealistic?
According to @ZenithFdn CEO Heslin Kim, that's exactly the direction tokenization is taking us.
For years, crypto has been dominated by hype and speculation. But the next chapter may look very different not because blockchain is changing, but because the assets coming on-chain are changing.
Today, crypto is worth around $3.8T. Global capital markets? Over $100T.
That's why tokenization matters.
Instead of creating new digital assets, it's bringing existing ones government bonds, equities, and real-world assets onto blockchain, making them easier to trade, settle faster, and more accessible to institutions.
Japan is already pushing this vision forward, while banks and asset managers are shifting their attention from speculative ICOs to infrastructure that supports real financial markets.
This is where the conversation changes.
The future may not be about finding the next 100x token.
It could be about building the rails that move trillions of dollars more efficiently.
As Heslin Kim pointed out, the next era of digital assets won't be defined by hype.
It will be built on tokenization.
If tokenization becomes the norm, which asset do you think reaches the blockchain first: government bonds, equities, or real estate?

@theyhateayo Building my account
Providing good and educative content to my audience
Getting the attention of does that would help me through my writing
Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for the campaign in mid-July.
While exploring the platform, I noticed a couple of issues:
I tried accessing your Discord and Telegram through the links on the website, but they didn't open.
I also tried signing in to the trading platform using Loop login, but the login failed.
I'm not sure if these are known issues or if they're happening because I don't have console access yet. I thought I'd mention them in case they're helpful.
@trize_io Proof of insurance is critical in private credit. Institutions don’t joke with it because the private sector relies on strong protection layers to manage risk and build trust. Onchain validation makes that assurance even more transparent and reliable.
