I'm Tarun, creator of tuneUPGRADE. I love to help people form great practice habits, and tuneUPGRADE helps track practice and make the most of practice time.
Announcing #tuneUPGRADE (https://t.co/vI1YATtA3T), a free music practice manager! Design a practice routine and hit go, and tuneUPGRADE will guide you through, let you take notes as you practice, and track progress towards a weekly goal. #musiceducation#musicpractice#musicians
What music are you practicing today? I recently restarted a jazz piano learning path, and I'm enjoying learning how to put some solo arrangements from standard lead sheets (of course, tracking it all in #tuneUPGRADE!
Here's what in the works for tuneUPGRADE:
(1) A "Quick Practice" card for the dashboard that lets you jump into a recently practiced routine or tune.
(2) A stats page showcasing your progress over wider timespans than the current week.
Any ideas? Reply!
You can now create smart tunes in routines based on tags and books, so you can have a more targeted random selection of tunes to dynamically drop into your routine! #musicpractice#musician#musiced
A new walkthrough video is available! Share it with anyone who is interested in making the most of their #musicpractice time. #musician#musiceducation

Minor update today - reaching your weekly goal will now be visually indicated on the dashboard via a medal! Happy practicing! #musicpractice#Goals2021#musiced
The dashboard card headings have been restyled, and earning the top spot on the leaderboard now gives you bragging rights for the following week! Congrats to jwj3647 for his first place win last week!
@CAVALENCIA The app should now remember how you've sorted a particular list. Tunes in your learning section, repertoire section, and exercises sections will each remember independently in case you have a different need for each list.
@CAVALENCIA I'll see what I can do. Perhaps what I can add is to remember the last sort a user made. Right now you can adjust the sort by clicking the column header. Thanks for the feedback!
Major update! Practice logs can now be added, edited, and deleted manually. Get credit for all the time you spend practicing while you're away from tuneUGPRADE!
Materials you've linked to will now frame in on the practice screen. This is a beta feature and various places may work differently, and public links may be necessary. Let me know if you're trying something that doesn't work!
The tunes list now has time played this week, making it easier for those who practice tunes one off without building routines to get an at-a-glance view of what hasn't yet been practiced in a given week. Let me know what you think!
Logs have been updated to be grouped by day instead of individual practice session. This is a better view for all users, particularly for those who practice one-off songs instead of building full routines!
A few more quick updates! 'Practice' has been renamed to 'Routines', there are now quick buttons to get back to your tune lists after practicing, and practice notes have doubled in max length. Please let me know if you see any issues, and thanks to @ShaneSolo for the suggestions!
Another small update this morning - the leaderboard will now show your title and level as well. There are 30 levels total to reach - so tune up and practice! #musiceducation
A small update today - new tooltips for dashboard graphs that better convey total practice time, as well as incremental practice time for a day. Let me know what you think!
tuneUPGRADE is getting some major updates! Check out the all new leaderboard to see how you're stacking up against fellow practicers this week!
