He has never made a single post to appreciate the Nigerian troops who put their lives on the line every day, fighting terrorists, foiling attacks, rescuing innocent Nigerians and working tirelessly to restore peace and security across the country.

But now that there is no bad breaking news of bandits successfully carrying out their evil plans, he suddenly has a problem with it.

And the most heartbreaking part? 13.6k people liked the post. 13.6k people. That means thousands of people are actually unhappy to see Nigeria safe and peaceful, simply because the peace does not fit their political narrative.

This is the kind of politics Peter Obi has brought into Nigeria, a politics where humanity is sacrificed on the altar of political ambition, where the safety of innocent Nigerians becomes less important than scoring political points.

How did we get here?

When our soldiers succeed, we should celebrate them. When terrorists are stopped, we should be grateful. When innocent lives are saved, every Nigerian, regardless of political affiliation, should be happy.

But if Nigeria's peace and security are your problem simply because they do not serve your political interests, then may God continue to frustrate every plan that seeks to turn the suffering of Nigerians into political advantage.

If Nigeria's peace makes you unhappy, may your problem never end.
