WE’RE HIRING: RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER (PORT HARCOURT)

We’re looking for a results-driven Retail Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive revenue across two fast-growing retail brands:
The Craft Loft (craft supplies) and Luxe Nail Haven (nail supplies).
This is a high-responsibility role for someone who can manage people, drive sales, and take ownership of a growing retail operation.
This is not a “sit and attend to customers” role.
We are looking for someone who can lead a team, and grow revenue consistently.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Driving daily and monthly sales targets
- Supervising and managing store staff
- Ensuring smooth order processing and fulfillment
- Monitoring inventory levels across multiple product catégories and preventing stockouts
- Improving customer experience (walk-in & online)
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales (bundles, upsells, product recommendations etc.)
-Identify opportunities for growth and improvement

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’re a strong fit if you:
- Have experience managing a retail/beauty store or small team
-Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Are confident, proactive, and able to take initiative
-Ability to manage multiple product catégories
- Sales-driven mindset (not just customer service)
- Able to work without supervision
- Can handle pressure and solve problems quickly

IMPORTANT
This role requires ownership, initiative and accountability.
If you need constant supervision, this role is not for you.

Power generation companies in Nigeria say they are owed over N6 trillion in unpaid invoices.

The government audited it and approved N2.8 trillion. GenCos say the real number keeps growing by N200 billion every month.

Because they are not getting paid, they cannot pay gas suppliers. So gas suppliers have reduced deliveries.

These thermal plants generate over 70% of our electricity. Right now they are receiving only 43% of the gas they need to run.

That’s why your light has been terrible.

The government launched a N3.7 trillion power project with Siemens to take us to 25,000 megawatts by 2025. It collapsed. We can’t even do 5,000.

They issued a N501 billion bond in January to start clearing the debt. GenCos said it’s nowhere near enough.

Here is the chain nobody explains to you:

You don’t pay enough on your bill. DisCos can’t pay the bulk trader. Bulk trader can’t pay generators. Generators can’t pay gas suppliers. Gas suppliers stop delivering. Your light goes off. You buy fuel for generator. Fuel is now N1,300.

Everyone in this chain is broke. And you’re paying for the failure at every single level.
