💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
My best friend called me this evening around 4 p.m. to say he was having chest pain and sweating profusely. I immediately told him to go straight to the hospital. Fortunately, his neighbour was around and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
Unfortunately, that hospital didn't have an ECG machine, so he had to be taken to another hospital. An ECG was done and, when I saw it, it showed a classic heart attack (Anterior MI).
I requested that they start him on Aspirin while transferring him to the teaching hospital, but sadly, they didn't even have Aspirin available. I then told them to rush him to the state teaching hospital. When he got there safely, they were finally able to start him on Aspirin.
However, they informed his friends and neighbours that they did not have a functioning cath lab that could have helped save his life. While I was trying to arrange for him to be moved to Lagos as quickly as possible, my friend died in the ambulance on the way there. It's about a five-hour trip. I was on the phone with them throughout, and this happened about three hours after they left the teaching hospital.
I was supposed to meet this guy next month in the Netherlands.
Nigeria really did me dirty today. How can an entire state not have a functioning cath lab? How? 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'm so broken right now.

If you are a lady who is sexually active, this post is for you!
Please share this to any woman you know 🙏
A 22 year old lady brought her mom who is 55 years to see a gynecologist. She was having lower back pain, lower abdominal pain, foul vagina discharge, and bleeding mind you this woman has already reached menopause but she was still having vagina bleeding.
Initially, they thought she had a urinary tract infection, she went to the chemist they mixed drug for her and she even took some herbal concussion that the condition did not improve.
So when she came to the hospital, she was asked to run some investigations, the results came out that this woman has Cervical Cancer and it was already in the last stage that is stage 4
She was having bloody urine, meaning it has spread to her bladder, she was having difficulty in stooling meaning it has spread to her rectum, she was also having shortness of breath, meaning it has spread to her lungs too!
The doctor said that this is something that could have been prevented, cervical cancer is the second most common cancer after breast cancer, but it is one of the most preventable cancer. There are some cancer that you cannot easily detect or tell when they are present.
Once you become sexually active as a woman, you need to go for cervical cancer screening, and the screening for cervical cancer is called PAP SMEAR
When you go to the hospital, firstly, they will do microscopic examination, they are going to examine your cervix. Now the cervix is the mouth of your womb in case you don’t know what cervix is. They’re going to examine it to see if there are any ulcerations.
They take out cells from your cervix, they look at it under the microscope, to check if there are cancerous lesions or any abnormality in those cells , then they can treat it when it’s still very early!
One thing with cervical cancer is when it is in your body, you won’t have any symptoms, until it’s grows and worsen till it gets to the advanced stage that’s when you start having symptoms and when you come to the hospital, it’s already too late.
Ladies that are not yet sexually active, there is a vaccine against cervical cancer.
Cervical cancer is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and it is transmitted during sex, even condom cannot protect you from HPV.
So as a woman that is sexually active, whether you use protection or not, once in a while go for Pap smear screening
So what the hospital want to do now is to manage this woman’s condition, till when she meets the Lord. And it won’t take long because the disease has already advanced.
Her daughter was also advised to go for Pap smear screening, because since her mother has cervical cancer, increases her chances of having it too.
A lady shared this experience on TikTòk and I decided to share to all my ladies too, go for Pap smear screening today!!!
Early detection, saves life!!!

I graduated from the University with a first class, and my Dad is to blame.
During my university days, my Dad would call me every day.
I mean, every day between 5 and 6am.
He is ruthless.
When he calls, you'd better not sound sleepy.
He will say something like: Don’t sleep away your greatness😩
He will ask me about my CGPA every day.
He will say: ‘You too can make a first class’
He will say: ‘That test you did last week, is the result out now’.
He gave me serious close marking.
He will come to school unannounced, and if I am in class, he will sit under a tree and wait for me to finish.

‘I am teary now’ - jeeeeez
I did not have any margin to fumble.
For 4 years! He was consistent.
And I remembered so vividly the day I told him my final results were out and that I would be graduating with a first class. He hugged me so tight, like I was his completed project.
He wore his best agbada to my graduation. Hahaha.
Nestlé has recalled these baby products.
So before you mix that next bottle for your baby, read this thread carefully as it concerns their well being.
If you feed your baby NAN, SMA, or Alfamino, a toxic bacteria has been found in some batches. And you might have it in your house right now.
You see, Nestlé has issued a massive global recall for several baby formulas (products in the image above) because they found a toxin called Cereulide (from Bacillus cereus bacteria) in some batches.
This toxin causes severe nausea and vomiting in babies. And the scary part is that boiling water does NOT kill it. The toxin is heat-resistant. So even if you prepare the formula correctly, if the powder itself is contaminated, your baby is at risk.
Now, NAFDAC has not released a specific alert for Nigeria yet. BUT our markets are porous. And people import ‘UK SMA’ and ‘Imported NAN’ every single day. So if you buy your formula from supermarkets that stock imported goods, or you bought it abroad, you need to check the last stock to see if your tin look like any of those products.
If yes, go to Nestle’s UK Website (SMA & Alfamino) and Nestle’s MENA Website (NAN) to verify if your batch does not fall under the recalled ones.
If your batch code matches the ones on that list, please DO NOT USE IT.
And please, don't keep this information to yourself.
If you have a friend, sister, or neighbor who uses SMA, NAN, or Alfamino, retweet this or send this to them NOW.
You might be saving a baby from poisoning today.
