@legant66 @talk2oleary @fordnation Why then did @fordnation just give his mp’s a raise if it’s based on a province’s fiscal situation? I’m pretty sure @Sflecce isn’t deserving of a raise since we still don’t have a reopening plan for Sept. He’s had since April to figure it out.

Yes, I can safely work from home right now but in order for schools to be able to open safely in September, all educators need to be vaccinated within the next 2 weeks. We need to prioritize all frontline & essential workers in Ont.

Getting the 💉 doesn’t mean life goes back to normal. Our cases will never go down this way.

@callmechris316 @NaheedD @Alexandralpach @COVIDSciOntario Hamilton is considered one of those hot spots. All of our pharmacy vaccines keep getting redirected to Scarborough and Mississauga. So apparently, it doesn’t matter if you are one of the harder hit hit areas. Maybe Brant should have elected conservative, then you would get your💉

@Andrew02399827 @CHCHNews @manesa_d A lot of the vaccines for Hamilton are being redirected to Scarborough and Mississauga. Ancaster Shoppers booked people for Monday and said they may have to cancel because it is being sent to Mississauga instead of their store.

@scigalbikes @DGBassani I just tried getting on the waitlist for pharmaplus since I turn 40 next month and it won’t except me. I guess this 40 yr old teacher in a hotspot doesn’t need the vaccine.

@sylvie_lendvay @CHCHNews @morninglive I think you need to get your facts straight. Not ALL teachers are getting their vaccinations. Only spec Ed teachers. I’m a teacher that lives and works in a hot spot and I’m on a wait list because I turn 40 this year. ALL EDUCATION WORKERS NEED TO BE VACCINATED NOW!

Why are essential workers not being prioritized over people who can work from home? @HamiltonsMayor our students need to be in person with their teachers! The only way to do this is to vaccinate all educators. When will Hamilton public health prioritize essential workers?

While it's unlikely kids will return to in-class instruction this school year, we need to plan ahead.

Labour day is just over 4 months away.

For teachers/staff to be fully vaccinated when class resumes in September, they need their 1st shot in the next 2.5 weeks.

@drmwarner @oectahw I know people who are registered to get their shot this weekend who are working from home or aren’t working because of covid and as I teacher I’m on the waitlist. Where are our priorities? Why is our own public health not doing something about this?

@drmwarner @oectahw I tried to register Monday since I turn 40 this year, live and teach in a hot spot but was put on a wait list. I don’t understand why essential workers 40 and up were not given the opportunity to register before people who work from home.
