Robbers broke into my house last night, they took my TV, Laptop and Wallet.

I begged one of them to let me pick something from the wallet.

The robber was shocked I only picked my voters card.

He was touched and asked who I wanted to vote for, I said PBAT.

He returned all my belongings to me because he was an undecided voter that lost his mother to 13 months doctors' strike in Anambra, 2012.

I don’t know why people are abusing this lady. Tony Elumelu is an international figure, and I expected better from him.

In the Western world, calling someone by their first name isn’t disrespectful at all. As a matter of fact, at my former place of work in the UK 🇬🇧, there was a Nigerian woman who was over 55 years old, and I called her by her first name.

I want to ask Tony: if he were in the UK 🇬🇧 and that lady called him “Tony,” would he criticise her for it?

I must be sincere with you, Tony was wrong there. I feel his reaction came across as prideful because of his achievements.

Many people claiming it’s about “culture” aren’t being sincere. Tony likely wouldn’t try that with a Nigerian abroad, so why do it in Nigeria? That, to me, is hypocrisy.

Difference between Tony and TOE, intial is his first name while latter is acronym for his full name, somewhat also his nickname. Then if he’s not comfortable someone I guess even younger than his own child calls him by his first name, respect him for it.
