@BerbarianWizard@_verylindy Even 5mg tadalafil had great pumps but not as good as HCLF. It also gave me some lower neck pain/stiffness. Supplement stack nowadays is not as big as it used to be and loving it.
@trader1sz Carnivore diet “works” because you’ve eliminated so many “bad” foods you shouldn’t be eating in the first place. Sugar is not inherently bad for you- the level of efficiency of oxidation of glucose is just not working properly. Your cells use glucose as energy. Fix the pathways.
Not really. Progesterone for women is what progesterone is for men.
It’s not a “female hormone.” It sits upstream in both sexes. Testosterone is a downstream output (and a substrate for estrogen), while progesterone modulates estrogenic signaling and participates more broadly in regulation.
From an anabolic perspective, they don’t do the same job. Androgens mainly drive tissue growth, while progesterone supports the conditions for it through anti-catabolic effects, including modulation of glucocorticoid signaling and metabolic stability. It is also a precursor to neurosteroids like allopregnanolone, which influence neural function and stress regulation.
They act differently, but in a complementary way rather than as equivalents.
@watchking69@cremedupepe Fasted lifting forces the body into a catabolic state. Reduced training quality. You’re not doing yourself a favor. Fasted training is like flooring w car with an empty tank: you’ll sputter, damage the engine and get nowhere fast.
