While most of the people are worried about data structures, programming languages have different implementations for the same data structures and learning how they are manged in memory and how they are processed is much more useful than learning how to reverse a linked list.
The world of software engineering revolves around arrays, hashmaps and sets. Rarely would you encounter any problems related to Graphs. That said, bigger and more complicated issues do require graphs. Again, you can easily read up on Graphs when you need them.
