He’s a valuable member and friend to all at Station and knows EVERYONE in the town and they know him!!
Frizington Fire Station welcomed Frizington Community Primary School reception class over to have a look at the fire appliance and all equipment. All the kids enjoyed their visit and had loads of questions.

FF Gary Davison with loyal and faithful service of 25 years.
CM Bruce Taylor who was awarded The Long Service and Good Conduct Medal for 20 years service.

Tonight marks the end of an era for FF Davison, he’s had 25 years service in Cumbria Fire & Rescue and it is now time for him to retire. What great achievement to serve your community for so long.
It’s been a pleasure Gaz, from all at Frizington Fire have a good retirement.

Called out this morning to the Winder Gate area of Frizington to reports of smoke coming from the cycle track area. 2 beaters used to extinguish the fire.
Busy week this week, we’ve had 2 new starters Chris Sharples and Tyler O'fee and they’ve had 3 shouts already, one shout which they are still on now up the Cogra/Ennerdale area dealing with a wild fire and were called out at 11am this morning along with 6 other appliances.
Called out to a wild fire 2 days ago up the Pica area which there was 4 appliances there to get the fire under control.
Also 3 days ago there was a small fire in the open at cleator Moor.
