@ChapelGateBuGr@autonomow@MM_Seed@AgrovistaAMNTY@TurfBusiness It is, we’ve got a few Kress robots around the site now, this one we move around to different areas, found it great last year for slowly reducing the outfield height of cut without having to put the weight of mowers on it when it’s so soft.
Nice feeling to come into work this morning and have the first cut on Pavilion outfield already half way through. Nice to see the yellow thing back in the sky too.

Today’s strip for @HbyCricket prepared completely this week by our 2 youngest members of staff, with only guidance being what they’ve learnt through the summer. Well done to Sholto and Mimi both about to start their Level 2 @MyerscoughColl
Difficult week with what’s below the surface but Terrace seeded and all irrigation trenches in.
Sometimes wonder how grass grows so well in this.

Start of renovations on Terrace pitch, first pass with our new Koro.
Pop up irrigation with pop up sprinklers starting to be trenched in tomorrow.
@CampeyTurfCare@pitchcare@TurfBusiness@MM_Seed
A great way to learn something new, network with others in our sector of the industry and meet some top companies.
I always think if you can learn just one new thing or make one new contact then it’s worth the effort to go somewhere.

Terrace set up and ready for today’s game, whilst the robot mower is gradually lowering the Pavilion outfield height by 1mm a day. Nice to have started it when it was too wet and soft for other mowers. Down to 15mm by Monday morning and ready for feeding.

Groundsperson - Haileybury. A new opportunity has arisen to join the Grounds team at Haileybury. Lots of new things planned for the future as we continue to push forward. https://t.co/ClckBMyJPs
We first met @turfandy when he was Grounds Manager at Shrewsbury School.
We then followed Andy’s pursuit of excellence since his move to Haileybury 6 years ago with a little help from a few of our clients 👏
In house creation of a better net block on Pavilion Square. 4 strips fraize mowed, Ventrac soil cultivator down to 4inches in 2 directions, tracked in, top dressed, seeded, Graden 3 directions, seeded again. @HbyCricket@BinderLoams@MM_Seed@AgrovistaAMNTY
Last strip of the season for @HbyCricket
