Sometimes, late at night, I return to songs and artists that I’ve leaned on or just plain enjoyed throughout my life. Tonight (and several nights over the past few months) it’s been @SteveForbert — a consistently under-appreciated troubadour whose catalogue you need to check out.

When @michaelidov and I were in a playwriting class in college together, I was listening to a lot of Elvis Costello. Somehow, twenty-some years later, Costello and I are still inextricably tied together in Michael’s memory and I am totally okay with that.
