BREAKING: Massive bombshell drops in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal drops as it's revealed that the White House believes that Ghislaine Maxwell is attempting to blackmail Donald Trump — right as he appears to be considering a pardon for her.
This whole thing is unfolding like a slow motion train wreck...
"In the White House, they believe that the story in The Wall Street Journal about the birthday greeting that Donald Trump, the salacious birthday greeting, that Donald Trump sent Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 on the occasion of his 50th birthday was a leak from the Maxwell family," revealed journalist Michael Wolff.
"And in the White House they regard it as 'a shot across the bow,'" Wolff continued. "So, a threat, that Ghislaine had damaging material on Donald Trump so Donald Trump's lawyer who — as it happens is also the number two in the Justice Department — but principally is Donald Trump's own lawyer, went down and I expect, to try to figure out exactly what Ghislaine Maxwell has and then they would figure out how they might have to handle that."
Last week, MAGA Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Maxwell for six hours at the U.S. attorney's office in Tallahassee, Florida. The meeting came amidst growing calls from members of Congress for Maxwell to testify to about her Jeffrey Epstein's operations.
Blanche was Trump's former personal attorney and represented him in his New York felony case. If Trump needed a bagman to conduct secret negotiations with Maxwell under the guise of official state business, Blanche is the man he would send.
Trump is currently suing the Journal for reporting on the birthday book compiled by Maxwell for Epstein. Trump allegedly penned a bizarre message in it about "enigmas" and secrets, drew a naked woman, and signed his name. It's entirely conceivable that Maxwell leaked knowledge of the book to spook Trump into pardoning her. It's possible that she has more, even more damaging blackmail information on him but will agree to keep it concealed in return for a pardon.
It should be noted that Maxwell has long been cited as evidence of Epstein's supposed link to intelligence agencies, in no small part because her father Robert Maxwell had known connections to British MI6, Soviet KGB, and Israeli Mossad.
Wolff previously reported that Trump considered pardoning Maxwell during his first term in the White House. According to him Trump became "very wary" after Maxwell was arrested in July 2020 for helping Epstein to operate his vast and monstrous child sex-trafficking ring.
After her arrest, Trump began asking “What could she say—what would she say?"
Trump's friendship with Epstein is well-documented. He called the billionaire pedophile a "terrific guy" and Wolff said that they were "two guys joined at the hip for a good 15 years.”
"They did everything together," said Wolff. "And this is from sharing, pursuing women, hunting women, sharing at least one girlfriend for at least a year, and this kind of rich-guy relationship with each other’s planes.”
"I dare say they kind of loved each other. These were brothers in arms for a long time," he added.
"Everybody around him was kind of like, ‘God, we hope she won’t say anything, but we really hope he doesn’t pardon her,’” said Wolff.
Ultimately, Trump didn't go through with the pardon. However, when he was asked about Maxwell during his first term he had nothing but kind words for her.
"I just wish her well, frankly. I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach,” Trump said. "I wish her well, whatever it is."
Maxwell's attorney has already stated that the president has the "power" to pardon his client and added that he hopes Trump "exercises that power in a right and just way."
Trump himself has said that he's "allowed to do it" but claimed that he hasn't "thought about" it.
Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison for sex trafficking, transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, and two conspiracy charges. Pardoning her would not only be a grave insult to her victims and a profound betrayal of the rule of law, it would announce to the world that the President of the United States is a blackmailed sexual predator. The evidence to that effect is already compelling as it is.

BREAKING: A Republican source close to the White House reveals that Donald Trump is panicking behind closed doors about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and is terrified that he'll be accused of "some funny business."
An innocent man wouldn't be worried like this...
"They’re going to f*ck me," Trump said. The aforementioned source told Politico’s Playbook that Trump was overheard in the Oval Office saying: "They’re going to accuse me of some funny business."
The so-called president insisted that he had nothing to do with Epstein's crimes, but added: "They’re going to f*ck me anyways."
Of course, if Trump were innocent it would be a simple matter for him to order the full release of the Epstein files. Instead, he's stonewalling the release, a decision that strongly supports Elon Musk's allegation that Trump is implicated in the files.
In fact, Senator Dick Durbin recently revealed that MAGA Attorney General Pam Bondi "pressured the FBI to put approximately 1,000 personnel in its Information Management Division" on 24-hour shifts to dig through 100,000 Epstein-related documents to "flag" any mention of Trump.
The evidence of a lengthy, sordid relationship between Epstein and Trump just keeps piling up. Trump is currently suing The Wall Street Journal for reporting on a bawdy letter that Trump allegedly sent for inclusion in a birthday book for Epstein. It includes his signature and a lewd drawing. Trump has denied that he sent the letter and claimed that he has never been one for drawing pictures — despite a well-documented history of his doodles.
Yesterday, Congressman Ro Khanna announced his plans to subpoena Epstein's estate for the book containing Trump's letter.
On top of that, CNN recently uncovered photos of Trump and Epstein which show that Epstein attended Trump's 1993 wedding to Marla Maples. The two were also recorded together at a 1999 Victoria's Secret fashion event in New York City. They were clearly close friends for decades.
Additionally, Epstein accuser Maria Farmer has revealed that she twice asked the FBI to investigate Trump after a disturbing encounter with him in 1995 when she was preparing to work for Epstein.
"She said she told the authorities that late one night, Mr. Epstein unexpectedly called her to his offices in a luxury building in Manhattan, and she arrived in running shorts," reported the The New York Times.
"Mr. Trump then arrived, wearing a business suit, and started to hover over her, she said she told the authorities." She felt "scared" as "Trump stared at her bare legs."
Epstein then entered the room and said to Trump: "No, no. She’s not here for you." Epstein and Trump then left, and she heard Trump say that he thought she was sixteen years old.
The story suggests that Trump was accustomed to being provided underage girls by Epstein, who he once called a "terrific guy" who was "a lot of fun." Trump is also on the record stating that Epstein "likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."
Trump is right to be concerned about the Epstein scandal. It's not going away any time soon and might be what finally brings him down. He is, however, wrong to claim that anyone is trying to "f*ck" him. He did that himself by associating with pedophiles.

BREAKING: Donald Trump is confronted about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal during an Oval Office meeting with the Prime Minister of Bahrain and explodes into a rant that it's a "hoax" and slams his "stupid" and "foolish" supporters for believing it.

"Mr. President, I know you want to move past all of this intrigue over the Epstein files but I do want to ask you to clarify something you said this morning. You said this was all a 'hoax,'" said a reporter.
"A big hoax!" interjected Trump.
Earlier today, Trump blasted out a lengthy Truth Social post called the Epstein story a "hoax" and whined that his "PAST supporters" have "bought into this bullshit" and so he no longer wants their support.
"Has your attorney general told you this was a hoax? What evidence have you seen?" the reporter asked.
"No, it's not the attorney general. No, I know it's a hoax... It's started by Democrats. It's been run by the Democrats for four years," said Trump. "You had Christopher Wray and these characters and Comey before him and uh..."
Christopher Wray was appointed as the FBI Director by Trump in 2017. By no metric was he a Democratic operative.
"It's a bad group. It started— Actually look at the Steele Dossier that turned out to be a total hoax. The fifty one agents, the intelligence, the so-called intelligence agents," Trump continued. "It was a hoax."
"It's all be a big hoax. It's perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net and so they and do the Democrats' work," he went on. "Uh, the Democrats are good for nothing other than these hoaxes. They're bad for policy. They're bad for picking candidates that can get elected like in, uh, New York we have a Communist running. He may get elected to it actually but he'll destroy the city."
As has been explained ad nauseam in countless publications, Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani is not a Communist and this random potshot from Trump just demonstrates how desperate he is to find a distraction from Epstein.
"Uh, no, no... I call it the Epstein Hoax," Trump went on. "Takes a lot of time and effort. Instead of talking about the great achievements we've had, a great gentleman yesterday as you know went on CNBC and he made the statement that Trump may go down as the greatest president of all in the United States and instead of talking about the things we've achieved..."
Tellingly, Trump is not explaining how or why the Epstein story is a hoax. He's too lazy to even do the legwork of constructing a convincing narrative. He's simply hoping that his supporters are gullible and obedient enough to go along with him on this narrative.
First, his Attorney General Pam Bondi said that Epstein's client list was waiting on her desk for review. Then her Justice Department said that there was no list, no evidence of a blackmail ring, and no evidence that Epstein was murdered. Then, Trump said that the Epstein files do exist but that Barack Obama wrote them so they should be ignored.
Furthermore, the idea that Trump will go down in history as the "greatest president of all" is downright laughable. He will be remembered as one of the greatest mistakes this country has ever made. His tariffs have devastated the world economy and driven our allies into the arms of China, his ICE crackdowns are tearing apart innocent families, and his "big, beautiful, bill" will leave millions of Americans without health insurance by cutting $1 trillion from Medicaid.
"We've had tremendous achievement, they're wasting their time with, uh, a guy who obviously had some very serious problems who died three, four years ago," added Trump, who once called Epstein a "terrific guy."
"Uh, I'd rather talk about the success we've had with the economy, the best we've ever had, and all of the things we've done, including in the Middle East," he said. "I mean you see it. Instead, they want to talk about the Epstein hoax. And the sad part is it's people that are really doing the Democrats' work. They're stupid people."
At this point, the only "stupid people" are those who still believe that Trump is telling the truth about Epstein.

BREAKING: Massive bombshell drops in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal as metadata analysis reveals that the footage released by the Trump administration of Epstein's prison cell was likely "modified" with software.
And it gets so much stranger...
According to analysis by WIRED and independent video forensics experts, the 11 hours of footage released by the MAGA Justice Department does not appear to be a "direct export from the prison’s surveillance system." They reached this conclusion by reviewing metadata embedded in the footage.
The video footage was likely "modified" using Adobe Premiere Pro, which is a popular professional editing tool that is often used on big budget Hollywood blockbusters.
"The file appears to have been assembled from at least two source clips, saved multiple times, exported, and then uploaded to the DOJ’s website, where it was presented as 'raw' footage," data reporter Dhruv Mehrotra wrote in WIRED.

While this evidence doesn't tell us what if anything was changed, it is deeply suspicious when considered alongside the erratic behavior of the Trump administration and the flustered manner in which Trump himself responded to an Epstein question earlier this week.
When Attorney General Pam Bondi was asked about a missing minute from the footage between 11:58 PM to midnight, she gave a difficult-to-believe explanation.
"The video was not conclusive, but the evidence prior to it was showing he committed suicide," she claimed.
"And what was on that, there was a minute that was off the counter and what we learned from the Bureau of Prisons is every year, uh every night, they redo that video," she continued. "It's old from like 1999. So, every night the video is reset and every night should have the same minute missing."
"So we’re looking for that video to release that as well, showing that a minute is missing every night. And that’s it on Epstein," she added.
WIRED explained that their metadata analysis could be explained by the footage having been "processed for public release using available software, with no modifications beyond stitching together two clips." At this point though, only a fool would grant the benefit of the doubt to Trump and Bondi.
Trump himself was close friends with Epstein at one point and Elon Musk has alleged that Trump is in the Epstein files.
For those interested in the specific technical details of the analysis, WIRED provided great transparency—
"Working with two independent video forensics experts, WIRED examined the 21-gigabyte files released by the DOJ. Using a metadata tool, reporters analyzed both Exchangeable Image File Format (EXIF) and Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) data to identify signs of postprocessing," wrote Mehrotra. Adobe software embeds traces in exported files, meaning that the analysis was relatively point A to point B once the experts got under the hood.
The conclusion drawn by the analysts is that the footage is "not a continuous, unaltered export from a surveillance system" which was what the DOJ implied by calling it "raw" footage.
"If a lawyer brought me this file and asked if it was suitable for court, I’d say no. Go back to the source. Do it right. Do a direct export from the original system—no monkey business," Hany Farid, a UC Berkeley professor who researches digital forensics and misinformation, told WIRED. He also questioned why the video's aspect ratio seems to randomly change throughout the footage.
The Epstein scandal surged back into headlines this week after a Justice Department memo leaked which claimed that the Epstein client list does not exist, that there is no evidence that the billionaire pedophile blackmailed powerful people, and that there is no reason to believe that he was murdered. Previously, Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed that the Epstein client list was waiting on her desk to be reviewed.
At this point, only complete transparency will do. The Trump administration must immediately release everything it knows about Jeffrey Epstein.

BREAKING: Donald Trump stuns America's closest allies by delivering a jaw-dropping defense of murderous Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at the G7 summit — sounding more like a KGB agent than the American president.

In reality, Russia was ejected from the then-G8 after they annexed Crimea from Ukraine, a flagrant violation of international law and a major precursor to the all-out invasion that would follow later. The idea that there wouldn't have been a war if Russia had been allowed to remain in the G8 is as patently absurd as Trump's claim that he would end the war within "24 hours" of becoming president.
"And you wouldn't have a war right now if Trump were president four years ago but uh, it didn't work out that way," continued Trump. "But it used to be the G8 and now it's I guess— What's that nine years ago? Eight years ago? It switched over."
"they threw Russia out which I claimed was a very big mistake even though I wasn't in politics then, I was very loud about it," he went on. "It was a mistake in that you spend so much time talking about Russia, he's no longer at the table. So it makes life more complicated. But you wouldn't have had the war. Throughout the outburst, Carney looked horrified by Trump's remarks.
This full-throated endorsement of Putin's agenda comes amidst heightened tensions between the United States and the member nations of the G7. The summit is being held in Alberta, Canada and Trump has repeatedly alienated our northern neighbor with talk of making them the "51st state." The relationship has been further strained by his disastrous tariffs, which have also alienated the other nations.
By the time Trump is done, America will have no friends left on the world stage and our adversaries will be stronger and more emboldened than ever.

BREAKING: A federal judge appointed by Reagan rules that many of Donald Trump’s cuts to grants for the National Institutes of Health are now “void and illegal” and declares: “Have we fallen so low? Have we no shame?"

"I am hesitant to draw this conclusion, but I have an unflinching obligation to draw it – that this represents racial discrimination,” said District of Massachusetts Judge William Young. “And discrimination against America’s LGBTQ community. That’s what this is. I would be blind not to call it out. My duty is to call it out."
Many of the cuts were aimed at diversity, equity, and inclusion programs which the MAGA movement has condemned as “woke.” In practice, the Trump administration is entrenching discrimination against people of color and the LGBTQ community — red meat for the white nationalists and Christian nationalists who helped elect him.
In total, Young has ordered the NIH to move forward with disbursement on funding for 357 grants that Trump was trying to kill.
Judge Young condemned the administration’s racist agenda and stated that it’s “palpably clear" that the grant terminations were "designed to frustrate, to stop, research that may bear on the health – we’re talking about health here — the health of Americans, of our LGBTQ community.
“That’s appalling,” he added, stating that he’d "never seen a record where racial discrimination was so palpable."
"I’ve sat on this bench now for 40 years. I’ve never seen government racial discrimination like this ... I ask myself, how can this be?" he said according to Politico’s Kyle Cheney.
Judge Young said that he is Constitutionally protected in speaking out against this discrimination but wondered if he would have stood “against all this” if those protections weren’t in place.
“Would I have said, 'you can’t do this?' You are bearing down on people of color because of their color,” said Young. “The Constitution will not permit that," he said.
“Have we fallen so low? Have we no shame?" he added.

BREAKING: U.S. Marines deployed to Los Angeles shatter the law on behalf of Donald Trump by illegally carrying out their first detainment of a civilian — and their victim was an Army Veteran headed to the VA.
But it gets so much worse...
The deeply disturbing incident was caught on camera and marks the first known instance of the military apprehending someone during this LA deployment. Trump's fascist crackdown on protestors has turned Los Angeles into an occupied city.
As The New York Times observed, it was "noteworthy in one major way" because "federal troops are rarely deployed on American soil and are rarely seen detaining U.S. civilians, even temporarily."
The veteran in question was Marcos Leao and although he was eventually released from custody, the temporary apprehension was a blatant violation of The Posse Comitatus Act 1878 which expressly forbids the U.S. military from conducting “law enforcement” operations within the United States.
The only time that Posse Comitatus can be broken by the president is when Congress grants express permission, which it hasn't, or when the Insurrection Act has been invoked, which it hasn't. This is a clear cut violation of the law.
By forcing these Marines to deploy to an American city that had no need nor desire for their presence, Donald Trump made an incident like this inevitable. It is, without question, a "high crime or misdemeanor" on his part and a valid foundation for immediate impeachment.
Reuters reported the incident and it's spreading like wildfire across social media. A spokesperson for the U.S. Northern Command has confirmed that the detainment occurred but said that Leao was handed over to Department of Homeland Security officers after roughly 10 minutes. He was ultimately released by them as well.
Of course, the length of the illegal apprehension is totally irrelevant. Even a two second detainment by Marines would have been a violation of the aforementioned act.
Leao was minding his own business on his way to visit the Veterans Affair campus when he crossed yellow tape around the Wilshire federal building. At that point, Marines from the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment sprang into action to do what they've been itching to do. They detained Leao and ziptied him.
The fact that Leao is a veteran only makes this story that much worse. He bravely served his country in Iraq and was granted U.S. citizenship as a result of that military service.
Donald Trump has always dreamed of being a dictator and now he's making a play for it right before ours eyes.

The governor pointed out that Trump’s Truth Social post in which he praised the National Guard for doing a “great job” was penned before the troops had even been deployed. As usual, Trump’s words are completely divorced from the reality on the ground.
“It’s Orwellian, simply lying to people, unconstitutional, illegal act, his mess. We’re trying to clean it up,” said Newsom.
He also addressed Border Czar Tom Homan’s suggestion that he might try to arrest Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass if she gets in the way of this authoritarian operation.
“Come after me, arrest me. Let’s just get it over with, tough guy, you know? I don’t give a damn,” said Newspm. “But I care about my community. I care about this community.”
“The hell are they doing? These guys need to grow up,” he continued. “They need to stop, and we need to push back. And I’m sorry, to be so clear, but that kind of bloviating is exhausting. So, Tom, arrest me. Let’s go.”
Governor Newsom is absolutely right. Donald Trump is playing with firing by escalating state violence against these protestors and innocent Americans are going to get hurt.

BREAKING: Donald Trump goes full fascist in a late night meltdown over the Los Angeles protests, calls for “bringing in the troops” right now to use them on American citizens.

“Jim McDonnell, the highly respected LAPD Chief, just stated that the protesters are getting very much more aggressive, and that he would ‘have to reassess the situation,’ as it pertains to bringing in the troops,” he wrote on Truth Social.

The idea of deploying troops to put down protests against the violent, cruel actions of Trump’s ICE agents should horrify every American. The city’s overfunded, overarmed police are already overreacting and instances of brutality are multiplying. Sending in the troops — men and women trained to kill the foreign enemies of the United States — is pouring fuel on the fire and asking for disaster.
“Looking really bad in L.A. BRING IN THE TROOPS!!!” Trump wrote in a followup post, clearly getting animated by the idea of more state violence.
“ARREST THE PEOPLE IN FACE MASKS, NOW!” he added in another post. Trump recently called for the outlawing of masked protests, a blatant violation of the First Amendment. At the same time, he has no problem with his ICE stormtroopers masking themselves in shame as they carry out his authoritarian policies.
Trump has already ordered 2,000 National Guard troops deployed to the city and has threatened to send in the Marines next. There is no limit to how bad things could get if he keeps escalating.

“I’m going to look at it. I will take a look at it. It’s been brought to my attention,” Trump said to reporters when asked about possible pardons for the criminals in question.
“I did watch the trial. It looked to me like somewhat of a railroad job, I’ll be honest with you. It looked to me like some people said some stupid things, you know they were drinking, and I think they said stupid things,” Trump continued.
“But I’ll take a look at that. A lot of people are asking me that question, from both sides actually,” he added. “A lot of people think they got railroaded. A lot of people think they got railroaded and probably some people don’t.”
Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr., the convicts, plotted to kidnap Whitmer from her vacation home in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic because they opposed the measures she had implemented to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Fox was sentenced to 16 years in prison for two conspiracy charges related to the kidnapping plot as well as for plans to obtain and use a weapon of mass destruction, a charge stemming from plans to blow up a bridge to distract authorities from the kidnapping.
Croft was described by prosecutors as the “idea guy” and was sentenced to 19 years in prison for the kidnapping plot as well as for possession of an unregistered explosive.
This is straight out of the fascist playbook that Trump followed when he pardoned the January 6th insurrectionists. He’s sending a message to his MAGA followers that crime and violence are acceptable as long as they target Democrats.

By signing two congressional rollbacks,
Trump has gutted crucial rules from the
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that were designed to protect average Americans.
The overdraft rule was intended to limit banks and credit unions from charging overdraft fees of over $5 or the amount required to cover the institution’s costs/losses. It was particularly helpful for poorer Americans who live paycheck to paycheck and who are often preyed upon by powerful banks.
The CFPB stated that the rule would have saved consumers close to $5 billion a year, the amount that these institutions rake in from overdraft fees. Some charge as much as $35 per overdraft.
Republicans opposed the rule because it hurt the profits of the banking industry. As always, MAGA prioritizes corporate profits over the American people.
The second rule gave the CFPB much-needed oversight of digital wallets and payment apps controlled by companies like Amazon, Apple, Block, Google, PayPal, and Venmo.
Because the rules in question were signed during the final months of Biden’s term, they were vulnerable under the Congressional Review Act.
Once again we see Donald Trump reaching into the pockets of the middle class and poor to further enrich already powerful institutions.

BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV enrages MAGA world by shading Donald Trump in his very first papal press conference by condemning "loud" communication and "prejudice" while boldly demanding the protection of free speech.
And he wasn't done there...
"We do not need loud, forceful communication, but rather communication that is capable of listening and of gathering the voices of the weak who have no voice," the pontiff said in Italian, addressing a large group of journalists at the Vatican.
He invited those present — and by extension the rest of the world — to "disarm communication of all prejudice and resentment, fanaticism and even hatred."
"Let us free it from aggression," he added.
He also made a call for peace and called for the defense of the "the precious gift of free speech and of the press," the exact opposite of Trump's constant attacks on the "Fake News Media" and his efforts to silence criticisms of his administration through weaponized lawsuits.
"Let me, therefore, reiterate today the Church’s solidarity with journalists who are imprisoned for seeking and reporting the truth while also asking for their release," said Leo.
While Pope Leo didn't mention Donald Trump by name, the American "president" is infamous for his bombastic, hateful rhetorical style. He regularly coins demeaning nicknames for his political enemies.
In fact, the night before Pope Leo gave his speech, Trump unleashed an attack on Truth Social on "Crooked Democrats" who he called "World Class Losers!!!"
It's certainly not a stretch to interpret the pope's remarks as an oblique condemnation of Trump's style of communication, because he has been critical of him and J.D. Vance in the past.
In February, Pope Leo XIV — then known as Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost — shared a pieced on his X account entitled "JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others" in which the author dismantled Vance's claim that Christians should love their family first, then their neighbors, then their community, then their fellow citizens, then the rest of the world. It was a profound corruption of Christian theology on Vance's part.
The then-Cardinal also retweeted a message slamming Trump and El Salvadoran Dictator Nayib Bukele for the "illicit" deportation of innocent Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia and the "suffering" caused by MAGA deportation policy.
On top of that, he shared an article from the conservative American Cardinal Timothy Dalton entitled "Why Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric is so problematic" which condemned the "nativism" espoused by the MAGA movement.
The piece also stated that Christians should see "the immigrant as a gift to our nation" and "welcome the stranger."
Clearly, Pope Leo XIV is staunchly opposed to the hatred, cruelty, and bigotry that form the foundational pillars of the MAGA movement. The world needs bold leadership to oppose the rise of fascism right now, and Pope Leo seems ready to provide that leadership.

BREAKING: Donald Trump has a raging meltdown for the ages after MSNBC runs truthful coverage of the devastating effects of his pointless tariffs and accuses the host of not being a "High IQ" person.
The economy is going down the drain but Trump lives in an ivory tower...
"I just watched an exhausted, highly neurotic Stephanie Ruhle spew LIES about Tariffs, as do many others, in order not to give me the Victory that they all see coming. Few people know Stephanie Ruhle, but I do, and she doesn’t have what it takes," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"Our Deal with the United Kingdom yesterday was AMAZING for both Countries and, in addition to everything else, British Airways just ordered $10 Billion Dollars worth of new Boeing planes," he continued.
In reality, the so-called "deal" with the UK is a complete farce. Trump has already revealed that the overall 10% tariff will remain in place. It's a PR stunt gussied up as a masterstroke of negotiation because he's desperate for the illusion of a win.
Trump claims that Britain is going to increase market access for American exports, but many of the details have yet to be hammered out. Tellingly, most Americans and British citizens are unsure if Trump will even abide by the "deal."
A POLITICO-Public First poll from last month found that less than 1/3 of British citizens and only 44% of Americans believe that Trump will keep his word. His long history of backtracking, lying, and reneging on deals had made him a deeply unreliable partner.
More telling still, 25% of Trump's own voters believe that his instability constitutes the biggest stumbling block for negotiations.
"We’re going to make a fortune with Tariffs, only smart people understand that, and Stephanie was never known as a 'High IQ' person," Trump continued in his post.
Of course, just about every reputable economist agrees that the tariffs are an abject disaster. They're shrinking the economy, causing shortages, and tanking the stock market.
At the same time, the tariffs stand little chance of actually reindustrializing the United States because Trump and his Republican cronies have refused to invest in subsidies or large tax breaks to incentivize reshoring.
"MSDNC has become the Voice of the Democrat Party, and they should be treated as a Political Advocate with all of the Taxes and Penalties therefrom," Trump added. "Their Ratings are terrible, but Brian Roberts and his crew should be forced to TELL THE TRUTH. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
This final piece of his outburst is yet another attack on the free press and the First Amendment. Trump wants us to live in a world where we are denied access to truthful information, with only his deranged propaganda polluting air. We cannot allow that to happen.

BREAKING: Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor delivers a bold rallying cry to the judiciary and tells judges to stand tall as Donald Trump's fascist attacks on the courts escalate.
This is exactly the kind of leadership America needs right now...

While she didn't mention Trump by name, it's clear what she was referring to. The president has been abusing his powers of office to wage out all out legal war on his political enemies, smearing judges, and extracting massive bro bono services from top law firms.
Not only that, but Trump continues to defy a ruling from the Supreme Court ordering him to return innocent Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador.
The simple, undeniable truth is that Donald Trump does not believe in the rule. He sees the separation of powers as a barrier to accumulating more power for himself and he is determined to tear it down.
