@Dexerto This is unbelievable! Thats not what the initiative was about, it was so people could still play games they purchased after the developer stops support.
If buying isnt owning, then piracy isnt stealing.
The co-creator of Darkwood just announced a psychological horror game that starts as a mundane cleaning simulator.
- Cleaning simulator turns into cosmic horror
- Genre-flipping gameplay
- Pilot a submarine to explore a pitch-black sea floor
It's called Hoarder.
So far, AI has:
- Ruined Memory Prices
- Game Optimization due to relying more on fake frames and AI upscaling solution rather than optimizing first.
- Social Media since half of the content now is AI Slop
- Made fake movie & game leaks so easy to make that you keep seeing them everywhere (more AI slop)
- Wrongfully flag Content Creators for Spam and delete their channels
- Made every app have some useless AI slapped onto it
Why do we need this much AI for again?
worth mentioning that its being delayed because they just fired 40 people in a union busting effort and now the staff is revolting
I hope the staff keeps it up
genuinely hope it comes out as a cyberpunk level disaster. it would instantly destroy aaa gaming and its obsession with grafix and pointless microscopic realism and, more importantly, it'd be really funny
