I honestly don’t know how many more days we are going to have to finish a tough day with good people losing their lives in firefighting efforts over this summer. What I do know though is we will never ever forget them.
Inspiring work today by @NSWRFS@FRNSW, NPWS & FCNSW, extreme conditions in multiple areas & whilst some loss has been experienced they have saved so much. Started day in Lower Hunter as they prepared for local conditions & to support colleagues elsewhere and end up in Glen Innes
Most of the rainfall in QLD in the past week is too far north to change flows in the Murray-Darling Rivers. There are some falls >100mm in the north of the Lake Eyre Basin but only a trickle is likely reach SA 2-3 weeks from now. Check national rainfalls: https://t.co/fYegwuXLLD
