@cpk_diecast I felt pretty connected listening to @Ebrennan45 call the race. I was like oh, the racing is still fun to watch. The other booth they run is just boring.
I will say it 100 times, if necessary.
Eric Brennan is perfect for the NASCAR Truck Series.
We have to do whatever it takes to make him the full-time Truck Series announcer in 2027.
Praying for Kyleβs family but also @RCRracing and specifically RC. Canβt imagine having to show up at the track twice after losing two of the greatest NASCAR has ever seen.
@PPistone@KellyCrandall@dennyhamlin Imagine the 1979 Daytona 500 done from a studio in Charlotte.
I get that CW does a hell of a job. And I don't mind that it's done in studio. But for anyone to claim it makes no difference is disingenuous.
@speed_visions I literally watched golf yesterday instead. Since we got the chase back can we go back to something like we had in charlotte with Sprint? Those all star races were elite. The whole weekend was cool
@STaranto92 Not to mention imperfect drivers. Top Sunday guys wouldnβt have slipped up like Love did so many times on the last lap. Not a knock on love at all, btw.
Looking back at some footage from the NASCAR weekend, and saw something interesting:
One lap before the Nemechek clash, Kyle Busch had a similar run-in with Brad Keselowski but saved it.
My main takeaway is that Kyle could be in the goat debate if he would have gotten out of his own way. Sentiment had turned toward his favor in recent years, but stuff like this reminds us why we never liked him in the first place.
Soβ¦ itβs worth demolishing a dude that was winning tons of races for your trucks?β¦ looked like a racing deal to me until FKB decided to demolish JH.
I did not start this. The 42 apparently doesnβt know where the RS of his car is and where he is in relation to the outside wall. There was 2 ft outside him and I was judging my left side tires to the hash marks. Always know who your racing beside. π€¬
