Americans weren't sleep marched into it. They actively covered up their ears while the whole world and the regions they destroyed kept screaming at them to find some humanity. They're now only caring about how fascit their country is because it's directed at them.
@drmistercody Also Jefferson Davis. That is the truth of "small government" it actually has way more government authority than "big government" because authority is given to a monarch/small council instead of to the population. When people hear "small" they assume it means "smaller overreach".
