Till 2019, IITs and IIMs avoided faculty reservations at senior levels for "scientific and technical" posts.

Courts also historically maintained that applying rigid caste brackets to senior professor roles could limit the pool of specialized talent and impact research standards.

Then the BJP government in 2019 introduced the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Teachers' Cadre) Act.

Now, we have reservations in IITs and IIMs at all senior faculty positions for all posts including Science and Technology.

Even after the 2019 Act, an internal government appointed panel of IIT directors explicitly requested an exemption from the reservation policy.

BJP government rejected the IITs' request.

Before 2020, engineering colleges (like IITs or local technical universities) focused only on core science and maths.

Now BJP government has changed the curriculum to make it mandatory for all engineering students to complete around 12 credits of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management during their 4-year degree.

Ankita Bhandari Case

The family put forward nine demands:

₹1 crore compensation

→ The Uttarakhand government gave ₹25 lakh in compensation.

Their village should be named after Ankita Bhandari

→ Not done yet.

A district memorial should be built in her name

→ Not done yet.

A government job for a family member

→ Done.

A school should be opened at the place where Ankita Bhandari worked

→ The resort has been bulldozed, and there has been no update since then.

An award should be named after Ankita Bhandari under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme

→ Not done yet.

The minister and his son Pulkit Arya should be kept in custody till the investigation is complete

→ Done.

Trial through a fast-track court and the death penalty for the convicts

→ Trial was conducted through a fast-track court, and all three accused including ex BJP minister son Pulkit Arya were sentenced to life imprisonment.

There was no mention of any VIP from the family’s side. It was the Uttarakhand government and the CBI’s independent decision to investigate the alleged VIP angle.

The CBI, in its chargesheet, has not mentioned any name.

The Crime Branch has already closed this case. The CBI is still probing the VIP angle, and in four years they have found nothing. Whoever this certain VIP is should be trailed and brought to justice. Every RW will support this

अंकिता भंडारी की डुप्लीकेट सिम बनवा कर पुलिस ने साल भर की कॉल डिटेल, वॉट्सएप मेसेज निकलवा लिए।

लेकिन पुलकित आर्य के मामले में ऐसा नहीं किया गया!

क्यों?

क्योंकि पुलकित आर्य की कॉल डिटेल्स और मेसेज से पता चल जाता कि कौन कौन VIP इसमें शामिल था।

ये भी पता चल जाता कि क्या मामला सिर्फ अंकिता के शोषण का था या और भी युवतियों को मजबूर किया जाता था।

इसीलिए उत्तराखंड में इस मामले में रोष है।

इसीलिए अंकिता के माता पिता आंदोलित हैं।

पुलिस ने तो VIP के नाम उजागर नहीं किए। लेकिन जब बीजेपी के अपने नेताओं ने पिछले साल दुष्यंत गौतम का नाम उजागर कर दिया, तो पूरे उत्तराखंड में जनता सड़कों पर उतर आई।

तब जनवरी 2026 में CBI जांच की घोषणा की गई।

लेकिन दस महीने हो गए, जांच आगे नहीं बढ़ी।

अंकिता के पिता को पहली बार CBI ने पिछले हफ़्ते 9 अक्टूबर को संपर्क किया!

और फिर 12 अक्टूबर को दुष्यंत गौतम को सिक्किम का राज्यपाल बना कर जाँच के दायरे से बाहर कर दिया। राज्यपाल को संवैधानिक immunity होती है। कोई CBI या SIT उनसे पूछताछ नहीं कर सकती है।

राज्यपाल बनाने के लिए गृह मंत्रालय और IB ने दुष्यंत गौतम को चुपचाप क्लीन चिट भी दे दी!

ऐसा क्यों किया, यही सवाल अंकिता के माता पिता राष्ट्रपति जी पूछना चाहते हैं।

संभवतः, मोदी जी चाहते हैं कि सब पत्राचार से ही पढ़ें, ताकि न IIT आना पड़े, न भेदभाव हो। मेरा सुझाव ले लो मोदी जी, 23 में से 6 IIT को दलित-पीड़ित विशेष बना दीजिए। एक्सक्लूसिव। केवल एक ही जाति-जनजाति समूह के लोग वहाँ पढ़-पढ़ा सकें। उसका नाम भी आप चाहे तो नमो-IT कर सकते हैं।

Someone earning 70 LPA got laid off during Oracle layoffs. Last year, he paid ₹15 lakh in taxes.

And paid over 1 crore in taxes in last 7-8 years.

- Now, he has no salary.
- He is going to lose his home as he can’t pay EMI
- His kids are going to kicked out of school
- He won’t have health insurance

When someone start earning, government try to extract every penny they can in the name of

- Income tax 30%+
- taxes on his savings
- Stamp duty for home
- GST in everything including schools fee and books
- They even charge GST on health insurance, air purifier, water filter and 20 things as government failed to provide basic needs.

When that same person loses his job,
Government never show up to help.

If taxpayers contribute in good times,
shouldn’t government provide some protection in bad times too?

No matter which political parties you support, result is same.

I think it’s time we push our government to provision a separate policy for laid off employees.

It’s time for government to show some support for its tax payers.
