@AbhasHalakhandi Facing the same issue! Paid ₹11 interest on April challan of my client, but the return processed with a default and a ₹10 demand. The challan was adjusted correctly, so the problem lies with their processing. @IncomeTaxIndia 😩 #Interest#Challan#Processing#IncomeTax
I've only filed 40 ITR1 & 2. I don't know how CAs & Consultants manage to file 400 because it's not that easy. Most clients have other or exempt income. Do they check bank statements of clients? Almost all clients have capital gain or loss from shares. #CA#ITR#Incometax
@PratibhaGoyal The appropriate method involves providing provisional interest from alternative sources to her employer, enabling the employer to deduct TDS on this income to mitigate interest. However, a majority of clients do not follow this procedure. But thanks to honest tax payers.
@LGE_Global Is LG re-entering the mobile phone market? I have previously owned a Nexus by LG, an LG G5, and currently possess an LG G7. I am a considerable admirer of LG's products, particularly their clean user interface. I find their phones to be quite appealing.
@i_rupeshsharma The big problem is that you should go to the Supreme Court, but it's not affordable without a sizable amount of ITC. It should be incorporated into law because officers aren't considering case laws.
@IncomeTaxIndia@FinMinIndia your offical confirmation is still awaiting even after 15 days of court order.
The Hon’ble Gujarat High Court has directed the CBDT to extend the ITR filing due date for Tax Audit cases.
However, as of 28th October 2025, no official notification or circular has been released by the CBDT confirming the extension.
👉 We strongly urge the CBDT to immediately notify the extension in line with the Court’s direction so that taxpayers and professionals can comply without undue stress or penalty risk.

Why does CBDT always wait till the last minute to extend the Audit ITR due date?
Is efficiency a crime or chaos a tradition ?

Otherwise, Khelte rahiye Court-Court Extension-Extension.
Today, on 25th I can't even say that extension should be timely... It's already too late.
Hope justice prevails.
Why the govt not giving an extension if most of the tax is deposited in advance? Are they seeking the remaining tax /penalties? If they are late, it's good, but if we are late, it will became penalties and tension @IncomeTaxIndia#Extend_Due_Date_Immediately
When there is a Tax Audit Extension, CBDT does not lose a single penny of tax. So, why is it not accommodating to demands of CAs?
It seems strange, as govt goodwill is at stake
This is how govt want to support to create local Big4 firms @PMOIndia#PenDownNoExtensionNoAudit
